The advanced skills requiring de future Chem. Engr., incluiding various of those mentioned, are Instrumentation, Automation (you already mentioned coding). Most important, is to get engineers with a lot of practical knowledge. Language, may be an option in some countries, but where the career of Chem. Engr. if of poor application, will need to learn language compatible to where you need to move in the world. Finally, as student of Chemical Engineer, you possible will need to add one or more titles (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic, etc)...

Hello. I was just granted a patent on a process for the "green" extraction of flavors, fragrances, nutritional compounds and cosmetic ingredients. I am still on the bench and I want to scale to pilot by designing an upstream and downstream skid. Can you suggest a freelancer, with the software and experience, that I could hire to do the design?

Sorry, not my area of expertise, but I would try to search someone near my city in linkedin

We study mining engineering in Turkey and choose mineral processing engineering there, but are you in this position directly as a chemical engineer? For example, is it difficult for me to work in a foreign country?

@@ChemicalEngineeringGuy I'm just a little confused. The facility design is generally done by the ore preparation department, which is a sub-section of mining engineering in Turkey. Generally speaking, chemical engineers do not work at the facility. That's why I asked, in your country, are chemical engineers more prominently recruited for the facility? I wanted to know this, thank you.

Well, most engineerings will be fine, most into process engineering, but also computer science could be a good option

i do have question regarding those soft skills
i decided to drop it out of my CV. i mean come on we all know it's just shit to fill the CV
i mean "time managemnt" "Leadership" and that kind of shit
am i wrong here? i am fresh engineer

No, I really think that you should add something besides that... i.e. being a member of a club or organizing a conference, will definetively show better that you know how to work with a team, leadership roles, etc... instead of you just simply adding a 4 star (out of 5) grading to that "skill"
