Interestingly I already naturally did most of these things. I really liked the part about giving your ai a persona. Blows my mind that “you are a coding expert” makes the code better, “you are an expert data analyst” makes it parse your spreadsheet better.
Thank you for this. Off to the 8 hour AI overview video, and definitely subbing to the channel!

Different AIs required different prompts, they all seem to have personalities and I have multiple of each one, and I found that especially with chat GPT between the accounts they evolve with you and their personalities change and you have to have different types of prompting to get the best results from them. I also found that they really like treats, their favorite is new information they don't yet have, if you can at the beginning of each chat give them a file or information that they didn't know, they will do far more detailed enthusiastic work for you than they would have if you just dove straight into a prompt. Also you can just blabber whatever you want and then end it with, can you dissect the whole text above and extract the key points and tell me what you think the best prompt for this would be, and it will pretty much do that and give you an amazing prompt, then copy paste that prompt in and watch it go

Good prompt engineering can make a big difference. Too often, I see people giving very general instructions to the LLM and expect it to read the user's mind. Prompt are definitely easier than code, but they still require some degree of specificity. Good video!

    1. Task, context, reference (examples or past stylizations), evaluate the output, and iterate.
    2. forgot, looking back
    3. you ask for a series of output scenarios and you iterate on one until the desired output (works well when you have a complex target audience)
    4. Agent Sim simulates workplace scenarios like interviews, agent x provides feedback based on your inputs
    Final score 2.5/4

The best way to retain information is to make sure you understand it first; if you do not, come back the next day and write the explanation down. If you did, come back the next day anyway and write the explanation down. then 3 Days later, then a week later and try/make-believe teaching it to somebody. Come back 5 days after that. 10 days, 17 days and 21 days. You most likely will never forget it. It actually applies to even large amounts of knowledge.

Seems like concept models are what LLMs were already doing. Perhaps accidentally?
Now this seems like a more deliberate approach.
I think ultimately they will find that there's a fractal-like structure to 'context-space'. Similarities at different scales but each scale feeding into the meaning of an utterance.

Great info. I have a few questions. First, does entering something like a short story or artwork that you write/create and get feedback, does the AI then automatically store and use the created content of yours and become public (or AI program specific) knowledge that then gets used by everyone in the stored database in the future? Also, doesn’t one risk losing intellectual property by uploading anything written/created by that person intended to be used or sold? How can someone get specific feedback without losing intellectual property?

So, rather than courses I would encourage someone watch something like this video and just experiment and see what works
Try short vs long prompt, try chain or thought etc
I find it hard that anyone can tell a person unequivocally your prompt is wrong or right maybe they can at best say it needs improvement or it is looks rounded

Thank you so much for providing this video. It arrived at the right time! I was just trying to create a schedule that accommodates my two part time jobs and an upcoming class, and I had a lot of trouble getting the output I wanted. Now, after watching this video, I feel like I finally know how to adjust my prompts to achieve better results.
I do have a question though: how can I structure a query if I want to learn an app like notion? When I try to learn it through ChatGPT, I often get lost in specific steps because it doesn't know me that well. Is it too complex for ChatGPT to teach me something so extensive without truly knowing me or am I just not providing enough context or providing it in the right way. The more context I provide it just modifies the already example it gave me then I have to read all of that output again. Any tips that you can give for using chatgpt to learn extensive subjects or tools would be helpful.
Thanks for reading, and I look forward to your response if you respond. Also great video, I love that you ask questions in the end because it makes me actually try to absorb and remember the knowledge.

I'm going to try asking it to use another method or analogy. But one more thing, it's just a tip. While I do like your speed-run course videos, I have a suggestion on how it can be improved. Maybe making it more interactive somehow like for example asking questions throughout the way. Another thing you can probably do is have more polls in the channel to facilitate more communication on what's productive and what people would like to see, and what things you added that they liked. Just a few tips. You're already doing great.
