Just in case you're wondering what intermission is it the previews that play commercials which gives you time to buy snacks,food, drinks, etc... It tells you how much time is left so you can pick up your items

Back in a time when America was way different. So far from what it is now. Sad very sad. Innocent times then to life was way easier.
Nothing like going to the Drive-in just to get hit over the head during Intermission with a "go to church" PSA.
It was a part of the community service type stuff that they did back then. Most people weren't offended, I expect.
