Thank you very much for all your efforts! The best DCS themed channel on the whole UA-cam! Keep up the good work Iain!
Thank you so much for doing these. For personal reasons, I have really needed the break from reality that these have provided....
Sorry if I set off a bit of PTSD. I can see where that would be true. Not sure anyone who was not around at that time understands just how "real" it was to those who were scheduled to be the first ones in front of the steamroller.
@@Sidekick65 Oh, no PTSD. I need the time away from reality right now, and these videos and missions have been a great way to leave the world's problems behind for a while. Please keep them coming.
@@RossOneEyed Got it. Let me know if the flashbacks start though ;-)
I know it petulant but I always felt you took the first step toward loosing when you accepted the opponents terms. Which is why my BP spikes when I hear Kub and not Gainful.
Anyway I’ll breathe a bit and continue watching airplane videos which we all enjoy together no matter what you call a SA-3.
Thank you Iain.
I always wished there was a command for pilots binoculars in dcs aircraft, though I have to admit I've never really heard pilots talk about using them (which always kind of surprised me)
I have zoom bound to an axis on my HOTAS so I can simulate binos. I did read some accounts from Desert Storm of A-10 pilots taking binos with them
@@Sidekick65 As a USAF vet, I can confirm that binoculars were used in A models. Seen it with my Mk 1 Eyeballs while at England AFB Louisiana in the mid 80s. I was with F-4Es and we were deployed there for an exercise to play war with the 23rd TFW.
These trees look soo good, how did you manage to achieve that?
Well, not sure that I am doing anything special. I have a mid-range system that I manage to run with fairly high settings.
Hope your feeling well Sidekick. You sound a little under the weather.
Thanks for noticing the "nasal" quality of the voice-over. Recorded a week ago while still recovering from my spring "cold" . Feeling better nowv- Thanks!
Interesting ‘what if’ series. Did you mention the file on your discord? Couldn’t find it in the files section or do you need special access to see?
There is a thread under the "Cold War Project" that has all of the downloads. You should not need any special access to get them. Just DM or post a message if you are having trouble finding them.
@@Sidekick65Found it. Sorry searched for it under Files, where you normally place your mission files. Thanks for the great discussion and content. Keep up the good work
