I'm so happy you made a video about this topic. It certainly isn't talked much about.
BTW, a small Polish channel, Galahad History (about 500 subscribers, even fewer views of most of his videos), made a whole series (in English) about this very topic and recently combined them all into a longer documentary. I highly recommend them.

My blood boils whenever I think of how Polish soldiers, officers, leaders, and scientists were treated by the Allies. Oh, you cracked the enigma and want to offer your experience? Nah, give us your results, and f-off! You are a veteran officer who fought in 3 wars and based on the experience of fighting the Nazis you formulated strategies to counter theirs'? Nah, we are superior to you in every way and don't need your advice. Oh, you graduated from one of the most elite air-force schools in the world and fought Luftwaffe in Poland and France where you shot down several enemy fighters? Nah, we don't need veterans in our air force while were are the target of the biggest air bombing operation in history.
I swear "Allies" must be the most ironic name ever.

@@patrickweber3954 Add to this gold transported from Poland for safekeeping later confiscated after the war by our lovely ally Great Britain as... payment for the equipment used by Polish soldiers who fought for GB!!.... This was so low, such a dastardly thing to do. GB is shameless. Imagine there was a fire on your street, your house burned down, but you came to the rescue of your neighbor's abode, and later he charges you for water and buckets you used in the process. Beware of this "ally." I cringed when I saw Boris "Potato" Johnson making a declaration in Poland that GB as before is behind Poland as an ally. History likes to repeat itself. Read good history books. You've been warned.

2:50 During the Saar offensive the French army actually reached the defenses of the Siegfreid Line and only withdrew entirely from Germany a few weeks after Poland had been defeated, the Saar offensive simply lasted as long as the invasion of Poland and even a bit more. France was the only nation to undertake a military invasion of the German territory in response to the invasion of Poland, the french offensive was launched almost immediately after the Germans set foot in Poland, yet the french army had mobilized only 7 days prior and wasn't yet ready for such an operation.

We fought on every WW2 front. In Norway, in Libia, in Italy, Battle for Britain, D-Day, Market Garden, Rush on Berlin from both sides, through Siberia. Even few pilots fought on Pacific against Japan. For equipment we used We had to PAY. French even tried to steal our gold reserves. Still We were not invited on any victory parade, we didnt win our indepedence. And West still wonder why we are so "distrustful"... .

Hello Hilbert. Very interesting. I probably commented before that my Polish work colleague sometimes mentions about the Polish who fought in Italy, knowing I like history and my uncle was a UK POW there, then in Silesia. He originally asked because another colleague's father was on the so called "Long March" of UK POWs from Silesia, but I was told my uncle got away through the eastern front and to Odessa, coming home in time for VE day.
My Polish colleague was surprised when I mentioned there had been Brazilians in Italy in the multi national force after a previous video.

There are some mistakes in this commentary. Germany invaded Poland in September 1st NOT the 3rd! It was on September 3rd when England and France declared war on Germany . This is what was called the Phoney War since while the Poles were fighting bravely the English and French never came to help them. Also another mistake you made is saying Polish troops were gathering in France in October of 1940! What a mistake!!! the Germans invaded France in May of 1940!

It feels natural that they would. In France, UK, Norway, Libya, Italy, Netherlands Belgium and so on and so on but now it appears that they probably shouldn't as they didn't get anything out of it other than making the matter of biological survival even worse for themselves. This or the threat of execution after the war if they returned or low wage physical jobs on emigration regardless of age and rank if they stayed.

A video suggestion, as I couldn't find it in your videos yet: the link between Åland, Öland and Holland. Given the location of those three, and the colonial and seafarer traditions, it would not be unthinkable that Holland would be nothing more than a Viking colony named after the origins of the conquerers... But that's just engineering logic at play. How are the facts?
