  • Don't let the word "tofu" stop you. This recipe has become my favourite to make when I need a delicious and decadent dessert in a snap! Not to mention it is vegan and gluten-free! Compared to a classic chocolate mousse, it is far easier, healthier, more flexible, but just as delicious.Try it once and I promise you'll be hooked!

I love this recipe. I usually just use tofu dessert (like the Sunrise brand), so that I don't need additional sugar. By the way, the mix of chocolate and cardamom is amazing. So I usually ground green cardamom pods and use mix it in! Awesome with raspberries!

Made this the other day and it came out fantastic. The texture wasn't light and foamy like normal mousse, but it's still rich and smooth. One interesting thing was that I could taste the tofu but my family couldn't, perhaps because I knew what the 'secret' ingredient was while they didn't.

Thanks for the recipe! My boyfriend is definitively against tofu (because it's not meat!) so as a principle he refuses to eat any dish with tofu. I tried your Chocolate mousse and liked it. He still doesn't know about the secret ingredient, not sure I would tell him about it :)
Texture is good but do you have any advice to make the mousse a little bit softer and creamier?
Thank you again, you make amazing recipes!

This is fabulous! I always veganize your recipes, the last one was the salted fish fried rice (used salty fermented beans in place of the fish, and scrambled tofu for eggs). Finding creative ways to make favorite food is fun and wonderful as we are doing our best to stop harming animals and our bodies get clean nutrition as a bonus! You wouldn't believe what is happening to animals every second, I saw Farm to Fridge on UA-cam almost four years ago and totally turned against the abuse over night.

Wow! What a crowd pleaser! Smooth as silk! So easy. I had an issue with the chocolate seizing but not a problem just heat up the chocolate again in the microwave! I doubled the recipe and added 2 shots of expresso, used 40g of caster sugar and lots of blueberries and strawberries on top. Added some powdered Coco and shaved chocolate. Wow wow wow. ❤️
