Man, those things are still junk with the surging.
There’s a leak in the line which causes surging. A leaking quick connect is probably the issue. Every time i have a pressure washer that starts surging it goes out in the following months.

It could be a small leak anywhere between the spigot to the gun itself. Possibly just an O ring on a garden hose fitting. Any time my active surges like that, I can always look and find a small drip somewhere

It is in fact a water pressure problem. Happens to me here at my house and it burned my pump up on my first active 2.0. Luckily their warranty is good and they sent me another complete kit. Still surging though lol.

Pretty sure its the 3/8" hoses that cause the surging. My Active did that and they replaced it but it stopped doing it when i put the smaller 1/4" one on. They dont seem to play well with the big commercial size hoses.
They recommended I switch to a steel braided hose when mine was doing it with a Flexzilla. Moved to a 3/8” steel braided hose and no more surging problems.

You must have a leak somewhere because I swear they worked out the surging issue after VE52. I have the first batch of Active's and it surges like a mad man. Anyways Jamies, I had a quick question about your Detail Guardz. What is your procedure on washing out all the gunk? Pressure wash rinse? I've been considering the bucket wall accessories but I usually remove the bottom grit guard in the tub to do a thorough cleaning. By the way, that was a neat wiper blade trick!

What's your dilution ratio for the citrus pre rinse? I'm always worried about paint with pre rinses,
The cool thing about citrus pre rinses is they are very safe as well even though they are very high PH 👍 I have it about 5-1

Uh, I don't get it. As far as I can tell you DID foam it twice. First with the citrus cleaner and then with Yum, before you did the contact wash. What am I missing? (Maybe Part 1?)
Foam twice with a foam cannon, you can use the Citrus with a normal spray bottle or a multi sprayer I just so happen to be using a IK foam pro 12
