They added Klay Naji & Grimes. All amazing 3poimt shooters and defenders even though klay has slightly digressed but still great roster and one of the deepest bench ITL. Also spence, great ball handler and can create shots and clutch and was a huge part of that 2022 WCF run. Also a 7’5 defensive stopper. They were just a few pieces away from beating Boston and I think they’ll be able to this time with hopefully a HEALTHY Luka and Kyrie getting over the hump. Whoever they met, I think they will beat. They should be the favorites, no doubt💯💯

People don’t realize that Klay isn’t making star player money. He’s making less than 20 million a year. Which means that if he’s stinking it up, they will bench him and he’ll likely play with the second unit. But if he balls out and isn’t even making 20 million a year, then they’ll have a great chance to win it all. Either way, it’s good for the Mavs. If he plays bad, they’ll decrease his role, he’s not getting paid much anyway. If he balls out, then you’re getting tremendous value out of his contract.

Yea if you play him the same way he played in golden state he’s gonna be ass but put him next to mavs system with adjusted movement for klay both bc he’s great with movement but he’s too old to move as much like he did with the warriors. like how they past pros and don’t see that? klay gonna be fine on the offense

i have a feeling at the end of the season klay might be coming of the bench not because he not playing well just because of fit he will come on for luka and they with change there offence to have more movement with kyre klay it would help them retain more of a threat on offence when luka is sitting and it help luka rest if he can just sit for 2-3 minutes a game
People don’t realize that Klay isn’t making star player money. He’s making less than 20 million a year. Which means that if he’s stinking it up, they will bench him and he’ll likely play with the second unit. But if he balls out and isn’t even making 20 million a year, then they’ll have a great chance to win it all. Either way, it’s good for the Mavs. If he plays bad, they’ll decrease his role, he’s not getting paid much anyway. If he balls out, then you’re getting tremendous value out of his contract.
