Driving through New Zealand | Episode 2 | Aoraki / Mount Cook, Kaikoura

This is the second episode of our road trip in New Zealand. I am doing these videos as a hobby and to share with friends and family. Therefore these videos are not made for commercial use but you are of course more than welcome to join us on this adventure!
Our plan was to drive through the whole country starting from Queenstown on the South Island and ending up in Auckland in the Northern Island. We are mostly interested in experiencing the nature of New Zealand so you won't be seeing too much footage from bigger cities. We decided to skip the idea of renting a camper van since it was equally or even more expensive than renting a car and staying in hotels/motels. The only downside that we could think of was that this way we needed to plan a bit more beforehand as we did not want to spend our holiday trying to figure out which hotels are available. Also renting a car from the South and end up in the North seemed to be more affordable than doing it the other way around.
Eventually the whole trip will be uploaded in several episodes but editing the videos will take some time and we will see how long it actually takes before the last episode is released. All the videos are filmed in 4K/60fps.
