My Cricut machine I bought two years ago is still I. The box. So intimidated to use it. Can you recommend a good place to start?!
Hi Ruth, I did that with a machine I had too, but once I got the Cricut I never looked back, it's so easy to use. I would start with the unboxing, there are instructions but set aside a few hours just to relax and play. You will also need to sign up and download Cricut Design Space on your computer which is free. You can trial their free month but don't do that straight away, you don't need it (unless you are going to have it all the time, it's a monthly fee). Just play with the free stuff in Cricut design space, or you can buy single items in there too, or use svgs (which is the name of the cutting files) in 1000s of different places on the internet. They are really simple to add to your computer in Design Space. An easy place to start is to cut out a word or sentiment to add to a card base? Hope you have fun and you don't need to be intimidated, it's actually a really easy program to use with many free educational videos on UA-cam. I would echo everything Therese has said Ruth. It took me a little while to get going with my Cricut but I would really encourage you to get it out of the box and give it a go! There is just so much you can do with it and once you learn the basics of how the machine and design space work, the possibilities are endless. Cricut themselves have lots of videos on their website and there are plenty of other UA-cam videos on the basics. Best of luck!
