  • The Tennessean has partnered with News Channel 5, Belmont University, American Baptist College and League of Women Voters of Nashville on the debates.
    Debates on May 18 and June 22 will be at Belmont’s Fisher Center for the Performing Arts, at ABC on July 6 and will return to Belmont on Aug. 24 for a runoff debate between the two top vote getters in the Aug. 3 primary election.

    I was at the debate and made notes of each candidate. Each one made great points in this debate. After reviewing my notes, rewatching the debate and finalizing it, I give a slight edge to Alice Rolli after tonight’s debate.

    If we want Nashville to be a very great city for walkability and quality of living (for american standards) in terms of people getting to where they wanna be without the need of a car freddie is the guy get us down that path. Plenty of parents would love their children being safe and independent to get to school without worry. And plenty of conservatives are humans and want good quality, fast, frequent transportation, and walkable suburbs.
