That's exactly how medellin is. I went to after hour bars and night clubs called la Pamahia. I was talking to a very attractive paisa. She was telling me that we could party together as long me and my friends pay her and her friends cover and also get them a bottle. I told no I good but it was nice talking to her. Then like 4 israeli guys accepted and got them in the club. One hour and half later I saw the fine paisa getting in a cab with her friends and left the israeli guys by themselves eating hot dogs outside.

What's up Marwa! I have to say that I disagree with how that guy feels about Medellín for the simple fact that I'm from the United States and have been living here in Medellín for 4 months now. A lot of foreigners come here acting like true Gringos. I'm a Gringo but I also learned how to speak more than just basic Spanish before deciding to move here. This helped me a lot as I can have almost fluent conversations with anybody here. A lot of people come here just to visit and they stay in just El Poblado or only go to Parque Lleras. There's so much more to do in this city other than staying in the popular places here. I live in Barrio Conquistadores and there's also a nightlife here with the popular strip club operating 24/7. Conquistadores is across the bridge from El Poblado and is very inexpensive here. People just need to learn how to branch out more because the women here, just like every other city, know where to find gullable Gringos who are only looking for something temporary. I have a girlfriend and we've been together for 3 months now. It's not impossible to find a good woman here if you are here with the right intentions.

Hello Marwa! I am fellow Kenyan from Nairobi and I have seen a few of your youtube clips and I have to say good job man. I have been to Colombia, and yes the people are absolutely amazing man! the women are gorgeous and will talk to you if you are polite and nice. I have been to Medellin, Bogota, Cartagena & San Andres and the only problem I encountered was the language barrier. I got around with my limited Spanish and I didn't have a problem talking to girls or meeting them. Maybe your friend was balling and he met some gold diggers, hey I have been to Sweden too and there are gold diggers there too, gold diggers are not only limited to Medellin. So I would not judge a whole city based on one guy's bad night, the dude might have wanted to party and pick some girls to take back to his room and when that didn't work he got upset. This happens everywhere in the world man.
It is not exclusive to Colombia. Just chalk it to a bad night. If want to party and get laid get a hooker !simple. I don't know why guys come to a country and think that all the women are dying to meet them or sleep with them. I bought a few drinks here and there and didn't expect sex in return, but I tell you this a got a second date and a third, you get the picture. You just have to taper your expectations and that way you wont be disappointed.

Another great video Marwa. I like how you try to stick up for the girls and protect them from the trolls. A lot of people out there have nothing positive to say about anything so they sit behind the computer and hate on others just because they are miserable. On the topic of Medellin, I have traveled to both Bogota, Medellin, Cali, etc. Medellin is by far the nicest city in terms of party life, quality of girls, etc. But each city has great qualities. If you have never been in Colombia before i would always suggest to go to Medellin. But you are right when you tell people that they should know how to speak Spanish. I love Medellin and I have always had an amazing time there but I do have the advantage that I speak good Spanish. I don't know what the experience would be like if I did not speak the language and I can really see how girls would try to take advantage of that. In the end, always be careful who you kick it to and who you take to your apartment, or hotel rooms, always take all precautions in any country that you travel to. Always keep in mind that if something seems too good to be true, then it probably is.
Yes, someone I know went to Medellin and told me Medellin is the biggest open-air brothel in the world! Nice weather and everything, but the amounts of drugs and prostitution in Medellin and how easy its to get either or both of them is amazing!!! Many girls and men live off of tourits. Seems like their motto is "spend your money on me"!

Brother Marwa, I kindly disagree on some of the things you mentioned. First off, I'm from a Latin country and I realize that things are a little bit different for me just on that fact. I agree with you that a long term relationship is really hard if you don't live there or plan on going there very often. By personal experience I found that the girls in Medellin to be friendlier. But club girls are pretty much the same every where you go. The same can be true in you are in santo domingo, Panamá city or here in the States.
Damn that's true on the first part and the last part I suspect as much. It sounds like you traveled Medellin way more than I have. You should do an audio video or something too. Your insight and could help a lot of people. Marwa's insight helps alot of people too. You'd be surprised how many people are watching or staying tune.

I was considering staying in Medellin but based upon the tips you gave here, I will take Bogota as my "base" from where I go visit other cities and "towns." The gringo factor actually makes prices go up in the long run. Can one rent an AirBnB for 3 months in a fairly good and safe area in Bogota? Tell me. Good and informative videos as usual. Mzee

Bogota is a very beautiful city, but please bring a raincoat, a raincoat that covers your whole body!! not just one part...Lol, it rains almost everyday...Lol
The food is good, and the people are extremely friendly, if you go to Bogota please don't go thinking that people should cater to you, be outgoing, friendly, and respectful and the people will fall in love with you.
I spent 3 days in Cali, Colombia, the salsa capital of Colombia, lots of black people, in Bogota not too many black people, but i still had a great time, but in Cali? lots of black women ;-) with positive attitudes, brothers you know what I mean!! Lol
Learn salsa, brush up on your Spanish, smile, and have a great time, I did, I did not experience one bad incident, also I met Marwa while i was in Bogota, this brother will give you the shirt off his back, a very down to earth great dude.

I live in cali Colombia and Colombia in general Colombia has gorgeous women but like in any country you need a little bit of game with women because Colombia might be a third world country but guys in Colombia are alway trying to be with them so women here aren't that easy the culture is different i personally feel european and American women are easyer then latina in the short run but in long run latinas are better.

You can live comfortably in any city in the world or you can spend a LOT of money and go broke. It depends on what you want and how you act. Marwa I know your channel is about dating but if you are concerned with how people experience Columbia then you should make videos on how much things cost to give them an idea of what to expect before they come.

I visited Colombia for 20 days in December 2017. 10 days in Bogota and 10 days in Medellin. The woman in Bogota wanted a rich man only, so I used her like she used me. But the woman I met in Medellin was sincere and wanted to find true love in any circumstance. I am going to see her again in mid-July for 20 days and flying to San Andres Island, where I plan to propose marriage to her. My plan is to move to Medellin. I recommend to communicate with women on a Colombian dating site rather than bars late at night.

I'm going to Colombia for several months starting next week. I picked an apartment in bogotá just because it seemed like there is more to do. I read that in medellín, the only thing to do is party. Did I make the right choice?
Very good and important video Mr. Marwa concerning travelling to any other Colombian city or town before visiting Medellin due to its massive tourism. I thought about Medellin as my first choice and it's not off my bucket list but I'm now thinking about either Cali, Riohacha, San Andres or Villavicencio to start off.
It's definitely a good investment to actually learn the language and focus more on the other 95% of women who only speak spanish. Yeah Colombia has women who speak engish but if you're coming to a spanish country you MUST learn the language so you can speak to women who only speak spanish and hold your own out there not just for women. That's goes for anyone who coming to Colombia for the first time.
I think many get bored out there is because they are not hanging out with the locals. Learn how they speak so you can improve your spanish skills. Start developing new friends to hangout with so you're not alone. If you're the sociable type like me, everyone will want to hangout with you. I have plans on going there. I'm talking from experiences from traveling to Guatemala. Spanish is not my first language but I'm able to hold a long conversation in spanish with locals out there so Colombia will be no different.

Hi Marwa, you made a valid point, there are beautiful girls in every country, but Medellin has a reputation, mainly because nearly all the websites, and introduction Agencies are based in Medellin, as a result many girls from all over Colombia come here to 'Get their Man', whether for a relationship, or just to rip off the Gringos who are so naive. That may seem harsh, but I know Americans, who come here either for an 'Easy Girl', or believing they can find their soul partner in a week! to be honest they get what they deserve, it's a short flight for them, so they think they can do it on the cheap. It is time they sat down and thought about it, would they be able to do the same in their own country...No, so don't expect the same here, unless you have a pot of money you want to throw away..
