- Keith River road, Pinners Track, Coldstream River Track. We hit a number of roadblocks on Keith River road. A Bridge out at the northern end followed by a massive tree down 4 k past the Arthur River. We only had a little run at magnet mine late in the day and due to poor track conditions, we headed back to camp. Day 2 we entered Condstream track off of Waratah road for a look but were getting low on fuel. We will give this another run on our next trip out. Those things sound so good!
how good , been telling people for years how good rangie are people dont get it
Great video, good driving and awesome sound missing my Range Rover classic V8 I had 10 years ago, so i bought one again and i love it :-D
Awesome video
Thank you
Good work boys...
great vid.
love to get out there
Thank you.
Cool video. Good to see the area getting a bit more exposure. Makes me want to head back though haha. The track you went down on Day 2 is actually the Wombat Flats Track. The Coldstream Track is the other one that also goes to the hut.
Martin Gray we worked out it is wombat flat after. There isn’t great info. An awesome track though
So happy I found your channel
I'm a tassie local who drives range rover classics too and it's great to see your vids showing how they go on the tracks here
Disappointed I haven't spotted your rangies around when you've been here, would love to tag along sometime
RatrodCustom we have both moved to Tassie and are living around the DEVONPORT area. Feel free to pm me and maybe able to arrange a trip out with us
V8 range rovers going nuts, congrats on the move, fantastic place to be.. cheers, will do 🙂
Great work with the vids, they're awesome
Turns out UA-cam no longer does pm.. are you in the range rover classics Australia facebook group? If so there was a recent post about a rangie on agricultural tyres in Tas, I'm the one who asked where in tassie it was in the comments, feel free to pm me if you like
@@RatrodCustom pm sent face book messenger
Love that Teeshirt lol
Some of those tracks look like they havent seen traffic in years!
And it's obvious someone has a bit of catching up to do speccing their Rangie coz yours seems to do it a bit easier.
And yeah I both laughed and cringed when Old Mate fell into that massive hole, Ya cant be scared eh.
Im wondering about the wisdom of having a 4 speed manual in mine though, the Auto's do really well.
Tony Geitenbeek I’ve had manual in the past. Never again. Auto is great for technical tracks. Mine has been built by a guy in Melbourne at Ringwood Automatics. It will upshift under full load to keep the hammer on when needed
@@V8RangeRoversGoingNutts Yeah Ive got a few Auto parts rangies here so I have options I guess but the old 3.5 will probably need repowering first, I'll remember Ringwood Automatics when the time comes or just build another Rangie from the later model bodies I have here.
Any chance of a Vid walkthrough on your Rangies Specs?
Range the beast !
Great video guys 👍🏽👍🏽
Quick question, How have you sealed the distributors against water ingress?
Eye Fly Africa high temp bearing grease is the go. Must be high temp or it melts. I don’t have some many problems due to the chev having the distributor at the back
V8 Range Rovers Going Nutts 😃thanks 👍🏽
Love the videos guys. What mean rigs. Been looking at one myself. Would love to know what the Maintnance is like on one these rigs see a lot of people boycot them but from you’re videos they seem to hold up well.
They do hold up well. BUT taking care of them and getting front of problems is the key. It’s not the cheapest hobby but we love it
@@V8RangeRoversGoingNutts did you guys have to do chop on wheel arches to fit the bigger tyres?
@@nickmartin7967 to fit 33 with a 2.5’ body lift you have to cut the guards. More so with 35’s
Mate I love the vids and I have a RRC and I'm wondering what you do to make them handle deep water without the engine cutting out? do you have a special dizzy and leads? also the intake system what mods do you have . Cheers
hi mine is a 3.9 the best thing u can do is put a scorcher dissy in it and put hi temp bearing grease between cap and dissy to seal the together
What bullbars do you have?
One is am arb the other is a custom tube bar
