Not luck at all. I worked hard for 5 years and saved up my money to be able to take this trip. Going from the corporate lifestyle to backpacking made me appreciate travel so much more than before.

awesome stuff. How do you sustain yourself while travelling? I want to do the same but I want a reliable source of income before doing that.

As a habitual saver, I had a bunch of money saved up when I decided to quit my job. I've been going the past year and a half without any income and just spending down my savings. Now I'm at the point where my savings are almost gone.
I meet a lot of people traveling who are freelancers and work remotely. That's something I'm looking into now so I can continue doing what I'm doing.
