@teresahall8762 Well there are still a growing number of Muslims coming to the UK. There are 1500 mosques in the UK but 38,000 churches. Some mosques are very small buildings - like the one in my home town. There are 13million immigrants in the UK and exactly half of them come from Islamic countries. So 6.5million from Islamic countries but only 4million self-identifying as Muslims. Then surveys of those that self-identify as Muslims, 50% are pro-sharia law and the other half against.
This is in line with my experience of people from Pakistan/Bangladesh in recent years where it splits into roughly equal thirds between those who abandoned the religion, those who follow the religion purely for births deaths and marriages but like a beer, and those that are full on fanatics. In discussions I've had with those that have left the religion, the fanatics have got more extreme precisely because the religion has lost so many adherents over the years and fundamentalism has been their response to it. This rise in fundamentalism has only encouraged more young girls to quit the religion.
I don't want to downplay the danger of having 2 million fanatics on the UK, but there is no danger of Islam taking over the UK. You will discover in the next 10 years that it is the economic impact of mass immigration of unskilled people living on welfare that is by far the bigger problem. I estimate that by 2035 at the latest it will be unsustainable and politics in this country will be forced to change.
It's worth noting that native British demographics is also changing, with far more white people on the right than are on the left.

And the British Museum's collections alone are some of the biggest in the world, covering stuff from all over the world. Losing it would make what happened in Iraq and Iran look like slightly rowdy garage sales!
My point is, our shared heritage must be protected. If something goes down, I'm going to my nearest museum to volunteer my services for security until civic order is restored. I suggest you Brits do the same. Stock up on pork and pork byproducts for self defense.

In case you didn't know postal votes were almost unheard of until labour opened up the option because Muslims do not allow their women to vote. That's not an opinion I was presiding officer at elections for 20 years and in that time I had just two postal votes at one election. Now Muslims are carrying them into the polling stations by the box for and sometimes they number up to 7000 in one constituency.
To make matters worse as one Asian openly said in their society the head of the family votes for everyone so one man can now have as many votes as he has wives children or relatives.
Labour changed the system so they could take the most advantage of the Muslim vote now it's turned round and bitten them on the backside if it wasn't so dangerous to the rest of us i'd say serves them right

I live in Leeds. The area the Green Muslim represents is an inner city multicultural ward only 3 or 4 miles from Alwoodley, one of the largest concentrations of Jews in the country. This does not sit comfortably in my largely peaceful city. Both my parents are from Gipton and Harehills, my dad, a Catholic Pole refugee baby whose parents were both teenage slaves for the Nazis. My dad had to assimilate. Held back a year til he could speak english at school. Worked his entire life. My country is failing myself and my family.

Yes, imported Islam has been given a glorious democratic platform to play on in the UK. Islam of course makes use of that. And apparently does it far better than many of the natives.

Europeans are a of a family and look at how we've fought each other over the years, even though we share so much in so many ways as cousins. Yes this is a very weak comparison and one they use often. They also like to drag out the Heugenot's and mustn't forget the couple of thousand Flemish weavers. European cousins. Share much of the same culture, build societies in much the same way and share religion, versus the immigration today. They are using this argument against the Irish complaining in Ireland about immigration and reminding them of their diaspora. Where did they migrate to though, to cousin lands of similarity. That's not the same as 1000's from non-European lands.
For all our problems, the Irish and English are close enough culturally that intermarriage is not an issue and the second generation can completely integrate into the host society. Jimmy Carr is comparing apples and oranges. Not all cultures are equal in terms of how easily they can integrate into a North West European society.
