I just bought a pair for my charger and hoping to have it installed by next week. How did you program it to work with your garage door openers because I really want to do that too
@@jonathanramos1189 I don't I'm not a social media guy but somehow I've gotta get downloaded so others can hear because I believe I'll be the first to do this on the type s, so I'll try, my mufflers arrive tomorrow then I plan to get them installed by the performance shop called XLR8 in Connecticut
Also was thinking to buy valvetronic exhaust, but bought oem m5, didn’t install yet. M5 oem exhaust also has open valve with vacuum, bought also aftermarket plastic diffuser, but heard that then impossible will be to use comfort trunk access, and bought after that oem m5 diffuser and also people use to cut plastic bumper reinforcement to make custom diffuser. Decided to buy oem m5 bumper reinforcement with comfort access, now only need time to go to bodyshop to repaint diffuser to black or oem color of car and install m5 exhaust, also bought separately that box with hoses which makes vacuum, but heard that u can use vacuum brake from front bring hose and just put small valve which will open or close hose in that case you will get oem style like 550 and m5 has. These exhaust I heard that after a bit time will begin get rusty inside and it’s very thin metal and because of that it will not give a deep good sound, that’s why decided to go with oem m5
@@EvanGoyuk I went with highflow fabspeed makes them and it still passes inspection and no smell when warmed up its just as catless,..vrsf catted highflow will always give a slight smell when your stopped but not noticable when driving I currently have the fabspeed its pricey tho
@@EvanGoyuk vrsf makes one but it's catless for yours, fabspeed doesn't make one surprisingly, but I do know that if you get a good tuner with the catless dp the smell decreases alot than if you had no tune
Can you include more exhaust clips in the next vid you do? Wondering if there's a shifting burble when you have the valve open, and how the drive offs with valve closed/open...
@@EvanGoyuk Is it lci ? I dont think pre-lci get shifting burbles with just a muffler delete or valve (I'm planning to buy a pre-lci one so im curious)
Question about the tap a fuse!!! I bought one but I believe it’s max amps is 10A. The rear defroster is 30A. I assume I need to get a higher amp tap a fuse circuit. Otherwise, any issues with the connection? Is there anything I need to look out for? Thanks.
After further research I found that the “10A rating only applies to the added fuse, and not the source fuse.” So I can get away with using this “add-a-fuse” circuit while using a 10a fuse for the exhaust, and keeping the 30a fuse for the rear defroster.
So I am seeing they don't include the controller to open/close valves at +$1,200 for a midpipe....kind of ridiculous when their name is VALVEtronic. How am I suppose to close the valve without it?
I love the Valvetronic muffler. I would love to get them for my 535i, but I’m scared will the muffler make the car quieter even with the valve open. Is the car quieter with the valve mufflers ? Also great video.
Valve cover being closed is supposed to make your car quieter or stock. Valve cover being open is like a muffler delete plus if u have downpipes or a resonator delete. Basically what ever your exhaust system is you can make it loud or quiet whenever you want
@@EvanGoyuk I'm definitely installing it but there is not much videos on yt about how it sounds... all of them are with downpipe combined and we can't do that here in europe :(
Just like programming your garage door opener. You press and hold buttons 1 and 3. The press the button you want to assign and the button on the valvetronic remote
@@EvanGoyuk thanks! i just installed a similar setup but with valved vacuum cut outs before the mufflers. So catless dp then these right before the stock mufflers. With the valves closed it sounds stock still as the stock mufflers are so restrictive, but once i open them... man its so loud and sounds amazing LOL. I would never be able to run a muffler delete and catless dp tho as the drone at 18-1900 rpms is horrific. Valved is def the way to go
@@EvanGoyuk yeah im not sure how it would be with those mufflers u got now, but from the stock mufflers, you couldnt even tell i installed a dp. Just the cold start was loud for 15 seconds and wide open throttle was a bit louder. Other than that stock AF.

Sounds like it’s rattling with valves closed. Sounds really bad. Valves open is good but closed it doesn’t sound right 😅
how are the valves holding up over time? any rattling or issues?
Evan you are my favourite youtuber greeting from bulgaria
Thank you!
thanks. Your video helped me. I use the buttons on the mirror to activate the exhaust✌️
How did you program it with the garage opener buttons?
If the valves are closed where is the smoke going?

So far so good only video that you can’t watch and understand about this mufflers
How much did you pay to get the exhaust installed?
Do you still have the stock resonators?
Hi, does it sound like airblow sound on WOT?
Did you cut the vacuum line provided by valvetronic into three lines so you could run it to both mufflers?
That sounds bad ass 🤌🏼
Does it sound stock when they are closed?
Yes maybe a tad quieter!
You can't partially open the valves?
No
Our valvetronic mufflers can open partially!
