As a woman in her 50’s, I can absolutely attest to the fact that everyone makes mistakes in their early lives. That is what our late teens and 20’s are for, to learn from our silly mistakes. Don’t let bad choices from your 20’s, or 30’s for that matter, define who you are in the present moment. Every day is a fresh start, another opportunity to be the best version of yourself. Glad you shared this Anna.

My aunt tells me the same thing. She had my cousin at 16 years old, dropped out of school, ran away from home, got very badly hurt by a crowd she thought of as “friends,” ran away once more, found some strange man in Morocco, had a shotgun-wedding, and nearly burned every bridge between her and her family - all before her 30th birthday.
      Now, she’s 66 years old.
She’s spent 15 years making amends with her family and last year she earned her doctorate while her daughter earned her master’s degree. She grew up in a chicken coop (I mean *chicken coop* literally) but just bought her own dream home and is happy as ever. She gets to teach what she loves and watch her daughter succeed after a lifetime of mistakes plus the damage-control.
She tell me it is NEVER too late. To do ANYTHING. It’s not too late to make changes to your life (whether good ones or bad ones). It’s only too late when life’s over, take advantage of *now.*

So many people are trying to trash Anna on UA-cam and I’m so happy she has taken control of this and explaining it. She has never denied having a past and always shared some of her experiences. Now jokes on all those who think they have some “juicy secrets” they think they are exposing! She is brilliant and is an original with this type of content. I have learned so much from this Channel. Yep. Ever since that tough as nails streetwalker escaped from my basement, despite her being manacled to the radiator, I've found it much wiser and fruitful to instead swipe both high school girls who are walking to school in the morning, and freshman coeds who are on their way home after dark. This not only reduces the chances of the girl being the sort who's adept at getting her way out of such circumstances, but the flesh is inevitably much softer and smoother against the blade of my machete

This is why I like Anna Bey, she is honest and real. People saying gold digger dont even realize that that word was invented by men to belittle and shame us women as if men are not drawn to money themselves when that's all they aim and work for in the first place. Thank you Anna for sharing and being vulnerable but most of all being real to the point where women like me can relate and feel good knowing we are not alone. I love you sweetheart.

Anna you’re such a legend and inspiration. In this day and age this level of transparency and honesty feels so rare. In my opinion there’s no room for shame, guilt or bitterness and your attitude towards these past experiences is a symbol of elegance. So happy for you, myself and all other women that had the strength to overcome these things. If you’re reading this and you still feel burdened by these things it’s possible to let go, you just need to work on it actively. Give yourself the credit you deserve, whatever you’ve been through you’re here today now and that’s all that matters - tomorrow can be whatever you want to make of it. I’m 25 and have my fair share of trauma and troubles, but I’ve worked very hard the last years to be better and I’m now working with a-list celebs and in the process of buying my first house. There’s nothing special about me, I just worked hard and if I can do it then you definitely can too. Thanks so much for this inspiring video and happy new year!

Woman empowerment means too to recognize that everybody has a past and doesn´t have to be ashamed by it. Anna is powerful opening us her life and taking the control of those haters and trolls that want fame "exposing" her. I don´t care what did Anna did with her life in the past, I´m learning a lot with her.

How horrified would any of us be if our lives, as young people, were Recorded, and all of our disasters and mistakes were broadcast on TV for everyone to see? Anna, thank you for being you… And anyone who has anything negative to say, is likely jealous… People in glass houses should not throw stones, correct? You’re amazing! I’ve learned so much from you… Thank you for teaching people how to be elegant and how to better their situation by bettering themselves.

OMG I just started watching, and I can relate! I was on The Bachelor in 2008 and did very well. I was on a short lived show on Bravo in 2015. Then I was on TLC for one episode of My Feet Are Killing Me in 2020.
I could crawl under the table just thinking about it. I'm 41 now and much more of an elegant lady. When I look at women now, living trashy and I say hey, let's all elevate, they look at me and throw my past in my face.
My last was my past. No one should be living now how they were fourteen years ago! Come on! Times have changed and so have I.
I'm glad you can relate to this....you understand what many people don't.

I LOVE seeing your trashy side! Lol. Just to know that you've been there and done that like the rest of us. It only makes me respect you more. Incredible to see how far you've come. As difficult as that time was for you it likely gave you the push you needed to move in the opposite direction... and clearly, you did it girl. Sadly, most of those people are just older versions of the same people they were when seen on the show... because most people don't want to do the actual work it takes to change. They also don't want to own their past behavior... a lot of people can't/ won't do that. (Esp if they are still the same)
Trashy is easy... but classy takes a lot of work. So... anyone out there with something to say, please... let's see where YOU'RE currently at on the trashy to classy journey. & if you're still somewhere in between... & you are... then shhh!! The only person you're making look bad... is yourself. See... truly classy people do not waste their time making trashy videos about others. They look ahead & not behind. Like Anna.

In all seriousness this is a good lesson that a lot of young people can learn from. Once something is on the internet whether its intimate photos, inappropriate tweets etc its there forever and can come back and spoil future relationships or job opportunities. What happened was tacky but people can change and should not constantly be judged by their past.

Ah! This is my favorite video so far! There are times I can't even watch an Anna Bey video or even think of leveling up. Times I feel down and feel like I'm progressing slowly or not at all even. Times I remember stupid things I've done especially in the area of dating and finance. And I start thinking to myself "I'm never gonna level up. I'm always going to be this trashy/confused/insecure girl. It's never going to change." I mean, I'm 25 and I'm nowhere near almost all the goals I've set for myself. And sometimes I feel down because of it. This is just not where I thought I would be at 25.
When Anna said she was 25 at that time, I was like "wait... at 25 she hadn't even figured her life out, she was still such a mess but look at her now..." So I got a little encouraged to continue doing what I'm doing. Who know, maybe sometime soon, people are not going to believe this was where I was at 25. So, thank you, Anna.

Anna, I don't always agree with you or your perspective on what it means to level up, but you knocked it out of the park here. You handled this subject with dignity and class, and you're right, we are all evolving everyday. We should not beat ourselves up over the phases we went through. We all go through phases as we grow as people and we always will. This video helped to show your humanity and that you have grown even more as a person. On a positive note, it's admirable that you had the courage to go for what you wanted, even if it didn't work out for you as planned. Sometimes we have to try things in life to find out that it isn't for us. I think it's part of how we learn what works for us and what doesn't. None of us are perfect and we shouldn't have to worry about being so. Anyway, this is my favorite of your videos that I have watched.

No one is perfect. Thank you for sharing your transformation with us. I'm happy you didn't let your past hold you back. We all wouldn't be benefitting from your lifestyle change and the self-improvement tips you are teaching. I know for certain I have improved my once careless appearance to be more self-aware, put together, and feminine. I feel so much better about myself as a result. Thank you for your teachings. 💞

in my early twenties I drank, went to parties, used soft drugs. Today, in my thirties, I have my own business, child, husband and dream home. I don't regret anything because if it hadn't been for all that in my twenties, if I hadn't reached the bottom, maybe I wouldn't be the way I am today. Strong and capable for everything.

I love how candid you are. Everyone has a past that they might not be so proud of. Some people's history may not be too out of bounds and others are shocking. But either way, what is important is we find the courage to improve ourselves and keep going no matter how zigzag progress may feel. Thanks Anna for sharing your tips and story with us.

It’s very brave to share things like this, especially if you run a school in elegance. ☺️ But I think most people can relate and it shows how much you can turn your life around if you want to.

everybody has a past that he is not very proud of, but what matters the most, is what´s now. the past is like a driving mirror - you shouldn´t be looking at it too long, otherwise you´ll crash. You really are a Woman, a Lady, and I admire You.

I've never been the type to enjoy getting wasted or high, but I've made decisions without guidance back then & it did enough damage. To the types that were like Anna, you aren't embarrassing just bc you were exploring a freedom you never had before. As long as you didn't commit a violent serious crime, it was just silly times that you've grown out of. Anybody with a sign of common sense or elegance themselves would disregard it as something silly to laugh at. If they don't, then they have serious problems themselves to mentally work out. As long as we continue to grow ourselves, we'll always see improvement of some kind from how we were last year or even last month.

I am lucky, I was warned about making your "party mode" public when I was quite young. It is connected both with time I was growing up and my school and family. Which doesn't mean I've never made fool of my self, that I wasn't naive. I still cringe when I remember something from my past, plenty of mistakes were quite painful. Thankfully I've learned from those it. Now I can make a new ones! It's all part of a progress :) It's good to see such recovery after trashy show, the confidence you've gained :) I still need to forgive myself, stop feeling ashamed it's still a long way to go, but It's inspiring to see that it's possible. Thank you for your braveness and sharing that story. It's not only good for us to learn from you, but also makes you more human which is crucial in our online reality, where everyone is picture perfect. We can be amazing without being perfect.

Meh. Sadly, this behavior is actually quite tame in comparison to what party gals and guys do each week (according to their social media posts, at least). But we learn as we grow, right?
Plus, life-experience breeds perspective and perspective breeds wisdom. I’m just excited to see how you’ve since found your niche as well as the way you’ve successfully capitalized on it. That’s the dream!
Personally, I think your past just adds this whole new layer of depth to you and the contrast between *who you are* versus *who you were* makes you all the more credible to me. Watching that young, lost girl stumbling around on national TV made me think of my own past; knowing the kind of woman that same young girl blossomed into just gave me so much hope for my own hard-earned future.
Anyhow, I’m off my soapbox now. I’ll just say once again how much I appreciate you sharing your insight into that time of your life. You do certainly seem much more *in your element* now and I’m genuinely happy for you! Stay lovely, stay sophisticated 😌💕
