Recently, Russia and North Korea have restored their military alliance. They have concluded a "comprehensive strategic partnership" that includes commitments to provide mutual assistance in the event of an attack on either country. This agreement could be the strongest pact since the Cold War and has been seen as crossing the "red line" in the international community, including the UN. This alliance has formed amid Russia and North Korea's confrontation with the US and the Western world. The recently concluded "comprehensive strategic partnership" between Russia and North Korea also includes commitments to provide mutual assistance in the event of an attack on either country. According to this agreement, if North Korea were to attack South Korea first, leading to a South Korean counterattack, Russia could provide military support in response. In this context, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova stated that "if South Korea sends lethal weapons to Ukraine, it will face catastrophic consequences," but the military alliance between Russia and North Korea poses such a threatening event to South Korea that it should consider even its own nuclear weapons.

The Washington Declaration, the Korea-U.S. Atomic Energy Agreement, and the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons cannot take precedence over the security of the Republic of Korea. For example, Russia, a country that promised to guarantee Ukraine’s security, broke its promise and invaded Ukraine. Drawing lessons from this, it becomes clear that agreements between nations, no matter how significant, cannot and should not take precedence over a nation’s security. The Republic of Korea is a sovereign nation. If the Republic of Korea decides to arm itself with nuclear weapons in the future, no country has the right to prevent it from doing so.

어리버리 바이든은 본인 치매치료에나 신경쓰고, 한반도 상황에는 괜히 끼어들어서 아프가니스탄 같은 사태나 만들지 말고, 그냥 주한미군 감축만 안하면 되겠다.
