I fondly remember back in the day 'tween the 1980's to the early-2000's when the East Village of downtown San Diego was 'vibrant'. But, ever since the revitalization due to the new, nearby baseball park and that whole area, the city's kinda cleaned all that up.

Funny thing is .. I was going to take a job there in national city.. shelltown area. They wasn’t paying me enough to live in SD. First time I had ceviche was in a national city restaurant. I can’t think of the name. With TJ, 20 minutes away , if that, why waste time on Roosevelt.
