The reason why they’re good songwriters is because the vocalist and the guitarist are producers and songwriters for a living outside this band and they write and produce for a lot of none metal artists so they have to write in different ways
Noah made the best decision in his life, to start writing his own music at 15-16 on his grandma's computer, and leave that cover band he was in, that wasn't progressing. He did what he wanted and what he hoped and dreamed for, and succeeded. I find that very inspiring! 🖤
What amazes me is that each Bad Omens album has a different sound from the previous one and they slay every single time. I think their most raw and personal style is in their first album which is my favorite 🖤🖤🖤
Even when the particular song is not one of their best it is at least amazing in its own right without the comparison to others. This is how good this band is! 🤩
Bad omens and Sleep Token are bands in the scene that I think are pure unbridled talent and doing the most to be original while still being accessible and infectious. Can’t wait for the next Sleep Token video! And on that note, I saw like 5 channels react to them that never had before recently! And I think your channel is a big part of them gaining traction right now! Keep spreading the word my man! You’re Doin the lords work!
You are spot on with the Jesus reference, Noah himself said in some interview that this song is pretty much written from the perspective of Jesus 😅 Also, love your reactions to BO, they really are the most solid band I've discovered recently, all of their albums are zero skips for me and I just can't get enough of them 😅 As someone else has recommended already, you should really check out the "live at the barricade", it's amazing!

It never became a single and it’s never been played live BUT it’s definitely a fan favourite. The song is different to anything you’ve heard so far.

A lot of these songs especially on this album were based on a real life situation Noah had when he and 3 friends were in a serious car accident where only Noah survived. You take that information and you can really see why this album is so hateful towards "god" and what Noah overcame.

This song and album are incredible. The lyrics are so strong and cohesive in terms of themes and atmosphere. I can't not love anything by this band.
