I didn't become a Christian until 3 years ago, but I grew up in an emo phase in the early 2000s and loved rock and emo music... this was one that I remember hearing and knowing, and not until JUST NOW did I learn it was about Christ's love 😆🙌 I love learning that there were quite a few popular songs in the secular world that we all sang along to that were actually Christian. Reminds me that God has been there all my life.

@@liltrini05 lol so my parents didn’t want my siblings and I influenced by worldly media so they subscribed to Sky Angel TV. At the time you had to get one of those satellite dishes to get the channels, but eventually they transitioned to boxes. So for years I only watched the most random Christian children’s content like Davey and Goliath along with preaching (think Jim Baker, Joyce Meyer, TD Jakes, and the rest). Anyway when I was a teenager they added a music channel Iand would have bands like FF5, Emery, Underoath, Norma Jean, Starflyer 59 , P.O.D. with an early Katy Perry and more on there. I remember being so taken aback because the music wasn’t blatantly Christian and I felt so cool listening to it. My parents didn’t care for the channel, but they couldn’t argue with me watching it because everything was supposed to be honoring Christ 😭. Plus the bands sold their CDs in Lifeway Christian bookstore so they let it go after a while 😅
I could only listen to Christian music at one point in time and ff5 and several other artists got me through that period 😂
@@angelolarsen8331 When I was a kid, my local Christian station had this segment every Friday night called Crossroad Radio, where they only played Christian rock and rap. This song was on regular rotation for a while. My grandma (RIP) heard a rap song playing on it once and freaked out, and she didn’t believe me when I told her it was the local Christian station.

ive been to one of there shows recently they prayed before they started playing, and when i met them and asked them about they're insparation for they're lyrics. they said that alot of theyre songs (including this one) are about christianity. so you can take what you want from it, but to me and the people who wrote it. it is and always will be about god.

I grew up in the Independent Baptist Church and when I was 17 I had a friend that listened to this kind of Christian music. He totally opened my horizons and introduced me to Skyangel's hard Christian music channel. It was one of the best things that have ever happened to me, and I thank God for that guy!!

While I do not think that this was the best video for this song, all the negativity about this being satanic trash is completely out of line. They are saying that they are addicted to God's love and in using the attractive women, I'm assuming they are attempting to make a pun on where people think love can be found. I do not think that they really considered the problems some people might have with lips because that's not a part of the body that God ever clothed. Other than being tight, the girls' clothes did completely cover them and it's rather obvious that they weren't trying to cause any spiritual problems with people. And as for why it is under a "Christian label" it's because Family Force 5 is a Christian band and they make an open declaration of living for the Lord. Being in the spotlight they don't get to hide behind a keyboard and act all judgmental and still claim to be a Christian. The entire world is just waiting for them to mess up so they can use them as an example of how christians fail just like everybody else. And if you knew anything about Family Force 5 you would know that they produce music with the knowledge that kids today want a catchy tune and they don't care how degrading or sinful the lyrics are. Family Force 5 has always made an effort to give kids and young adults a catchy alternative. And while their lyrics are not always exactly praise, they are clean.

I saw them live at Sonfest (Shoutfest) with Relient K and Sixpence None the Richer and they were awesome. My sister and I got a fist bump from the Hulk hand glove (that had a light up heart in it) and it was amazing. I haven’t listened to these guys in over a decade, but can still remember the words to the songs I used to listen to.

I was at one of their concerts in Gaylord, MI. One of my friends whos a youth leader is friends with the new guy and he got us tickets for free. I was able to get a pic with all of them, shake their hands, and got all their autographs on their Reanimated CD. IT WAS AWESOME
