Great terrifying biomechanical beasts, several times larger than the player character (seen dead in the background). They sprint across the crypts in groups, snapping their scissor-like beaks at anything and everything nearby. A single bite from one of these things is lethal, and killing them is not a generally viable option. Your best bet is to hide away when they go past, or blind them with the organic flashbangs that grow nearby. Otherwise, you're in for a world of trouble.
