I love untangling jewelry. When I was a little kid, anytime we were visiting anyone I got my hands on the jewelry box and undid all the knots and tangles and reorganized it. Wowsers on the silver chain, I think that falls in the "wheat style" category. Byzantine has more rounded links like jump rings folded on each other.
Thank you again, the easiest way is to gently rub your teeth on one of the pearls, it should be gritty and taste like the sea. You can also gently rub two together and you should feel the grittiness.
