I was privileged to know Peter for about 20 years or so, he voiced many of the commercials I directed. I think he was truly our country's finest narrator... but he was an even better person. I've never met anyone kinder, more helpful, and just all-around-great human being. I've always felt very honored to have worked with Peter. Even more honored to just have simply known him. A life very well lived.
You are indeed fortunate. I watch a Forensic Files episode every day and it feels like getting to hang out with Mr. Thomas, like an old friend. I wish him Peace and we are all fortunate to have had him with us.

I leave the Escape Channel running 24/7 and Forensic Files is my favorite show, mostly because of Mr. Thomas’s comforting voice. I sleep better when I can hear Mr. Thomas speaking, in fact, his voice is what lulls me to sleep. I have several sleeping disorders and sleep is rare and very precious to me, so when I am finally ready to sleep, I listen to Mr. Thomas speak and it gives me comfort and security to sleep. I remember Peter as a gentle - kind soul who was always extremely professional and always available to us. We recorded him for Coca-Cola commercials in 60's 70's - a one take guy! RIP dear Peter you will always be remembered!

I wish I could've met Peter Thomas. I loved his narrating skills, and listening to his voice on Forensic Files, it gave me chills watching it. It really shows how moving his narrating talent can affect you. He will be deeply remembered as a successful, and gifted narrator, and a WWII Veteran. I wanted to send him a fan-letter but, sadly, I was 2 months to late. He passed in April 2016, and I was about to send it on June 2016. I was devastated. But, when I pass, which I pray won't be for decades to come, I'll be sure to meet Peter Thomas, and his wife, Stella, and get to know them. R.I.P Peter & Stella Thomas. You will be missed. 😔😇😇

Rip Peter. I think the narrator of this videos has also a great voice. He could be chosen to narrate if there will be new episodes of Forensic Files, even though Peter is irreplaceable.
I know your comment is a year old, but Forensic Files 2 starts in February 2020 😁 on HLN. Wont be the same without Peter but I'm still excited to watch!
The narrator is Bill Campbell. Really disappointed in the choice HLN made by not choosing someone who sounded even a little like Peter.
I’m not happy with the new narrator. I wished they choose the narrator of this video instead.

His voice is incredible, I rewatch forensic files just to hear his voice. Half the times I don't even watch, I just listen.
Peter's voice was soothing and sentimental, yet easy on our ears; he did not overwhelm the program. He added to it.
