    Amazed to find a vid of someone who actually looks like an 8th grader, not some kid with a beard who eats steroid pops for breakfast. He's got it.

      amazing you have to insult my fam, he works hard and currently is in the 11 grade , he resides columbia sc..i like this kid's game and work ethic, but he still has a way to go..my fam seventh woods is da truth and he puts in the work

    • @EmmanuelStalling
      @EmmanuelStalling 10 років тому +2

      tre mcqueen It was a joke about how 7th appears much older than he is, nothing more. Not an insult, so relax. Trust and believe that I will be following Woods' career like I followed LeBron's.

    its crazy how he plays.. not the handle or jumper, but that at his age he makes the right move, right play every time. That is the most important, most vaulable thing for a PG to have. The foundation is set for this kid. He has to work hard. I hope he loves the game.

    LMFAO! He fried #20 at the end, and Uncle Drew's nephew seen the whole thing... Nothing like having top tier handles combined with the ability to make a solid pass at within the split second that it's necessary. His game is most definitely there. God bless this young boy to just focused on being the best student he can be now. Focus on NOTHING but BOOKS and BASKETBALL and we got a PRO.

    An amazing player, completely deserve #1 guard in the nation. I'm in the same class as him, and same height. The handle he showing off now is the same as mine but he can do this in games, I can't as of now. Can't wait to play him in high school, when I learn how to play smoother and with more confidence. Keep up the great work Damon.

    Im a freshman and I played with a lot of good hoopers when I was young in AAU then everyone else started developing their skills then all of a sudden my Freshman basketball year they dont make A team . Damon has a bright future but there is a lot of other players that still got a lot of developing to do and they can become just as great as him .

    Korie Lucious was doing the same thing.. He was #1 in the nation as a 7th, 8th grader and the beginning of the 9th grade year with Tyreke Evans right behind him. Then everyone else caught up. This young boy will be nice.

    According to the news, Damon is a starter at OCP. He was supposed to go to powerhouse Monteverde academy, but OCP is a smaller school. His dad stated that Damon has been in 3 high schools in the past 3 years and hopes to stay at OCP until graduation. He is currently 5'8 110lbs and he plays with 4 Seniors. He is the only Freshman on Varsity.

    If he uses his crossover as a go to move, then he will become the player everyone thinks he is. A crossover is suppose to allow space to create room for a open jumpshot or a lane to drive in. Him as well as the other players with SICK HANDLES would shift someone and wait around. The different is this kid is in 8th grade and still has time to develop and will. Lance Stephenson still does it.

    I know this kid is great, amazing handles, great shooter, and simply a playmaker. But i really want to see him against his own age group and against the top players in his class. I feel like he would dominate but it would be great to see him against some top pgs in his class like chase adams or atiba taylor and see how his team would do at aau nationals

    • @MsASM1995

      Mike Simpson I know that. But it would be nice to see him play against the top competition in his grade and play against teams like Team Izod or WACG. Take Darius Garland from WACG. He's one of the top pg's his class(the same as Damon) and he played on his varsity team as an 8th grader as well. But now he plays against his own grade and its good to see how he matches up with other top pg's in his class

      broke a record at adidas Junior Phenom camp by scoring 50 points with 17 assists. that's what happens when he plays against people his age. in the 6th grade he averaged 31 points and he wasn't challenged enough. playing against people his age is not what he should do if he wants to get better.

    • @TrayvonFerrellball
      @TrayvonFerrellball 10 років тому

      DredHed Kingpin He haven't played up against everyone.There are so many diamonds in the rough, that is coming up, He is blessed to have the financial backings to get him the exposure to attend the expensive camps,and tournaments, but some players are coming a different route, and will meet up with him one day soon. Trayvon Ferrell (videos's on You tube) is a player, that can shut those jumpers down. Most of D shoots no one is guarding him. Most players don't like to play defense, and may one day he will meet up with Trayvon Ferrell (He's on YOU TUBE) Check him out .All around Athlete,Raw unpredictable talent.He's playing on his strengths, and working on his weaknesses.Damon only plays great offense, but don't see any videos of him playing hard core raw defense.Don't get me wrong he plays well on offense, and the publicity speaks for him, but he haven't meet his match, and believe Tray looks forward to playing either with him, or against him on a team.

    Hope you do well in life, kid. Basketball, while important, is just a subset of life. A good thing to do when you're in 8th grade is hang out with friends or do homework with your bud while eating some pizza, or lie in a hammock for half an hour thinking about the universe. Don't let your awesome potential become your awesome stress.
