Amazed to find a vid of someone who actually looks like an 8th grader, not some kid with a beard who eats steroid pops for breakfast. He's got it.
hes talking about seventh woods
thomas samuka Word. 7th Woods is actually 27 years old.
Emmanuel Stalling
amazing you have to insult my fam, he works hard and currently is in the 11 grade , he resides columbia sc..i like this kid's game and work ethic, but he still has a way to go..my fam seventh woods is da truth and he puts in the work
tre mcqueen It was a joke about how 7th appears much older than he is, nothing more. Not an insult, so relax. Trust and believe that I will be following Woods' career like I followed LeBron's.
tre mcqueen Seventh is in the 10th grade btw not 11th
We want more Damon this is not enough
its crazy how he plays.. not the handle or jumper, but that at his age he makes the right move, right play every time. That is the most important, most vaulable thing for a PG to have. The foundation is set for this kid. He has to work hard. I hope he loves the game.
he hade a good coach maybe
joseph zoa takes a lot more than just a good coach to be this good at his age.
Kid is nice but its a higlight video. It's not going to show you the wrong plays
Hugh Jazz Of course, but his good plays look real good. But yeah, I hear you, he could be shooting 9-20 every game. i don't know his stats, just these vids
***** thats true.. I always wonder what the kid shooting percentage is in a game. But there's no doubt that he has skill and talent and work ethic
He's great right now. Imagine if he gets taller and still improving
LMFAO! He fried #20 at the end, and Uncle Drew's nephew seen the whole thing... Nothing like having top tier handles combined with the ability to make a solid pass at within the split second that it's necessary. His game is most definitely there. God bless this young boy to just focused on being the best student he can be now. Focus on NOTHING but BOOKS and BASKETBALL and we got a PRO.
He's got a tight handle, but he's still got that 3rd grader jumpshot. Gotta get in the weight room once he gets in high school
I know he looks weak, but I've played him in football he's not weak
LOL, he's like 14 man. The upper body strength will come naturally if he keeps playing ball.
nahh he pulls from deep and sinks it
It's called a one motion shot. Steph, James Harden, and all the great shooters shoot a one motion shot.
GodsChosen11 he still shoots from the waist though
This kid has been in middle school for 5 years
True elite player. That's what you get with hard work. I've been watching this kid since he was in the 5th grade.
This kid is a future star, his vision, his handle, and his skill sets are way advanced beyond 8th grade. He could possibly be in the Jordan class of playing basketball. Study hard.
Damn he was my fav lmao
Kyrie Irving was watching him, that'show you know he's good.
that's not only why he's good someone like this gotta have a love for the game
right
***** He's not just there to watch him. The entire OCP team is insane.
they are?
No, he came to watch Damon. It was at my school lol, he approached him personally after the game and tweeted at him and everything.
An amazing player, completely deserve #1 guard in the nation. I'm in the same class as him, and same height. The handle he showing off now is the same as mine but he can do this in games, I can't as of now. Can't wait to play him in high school, when I learn how to play smoother and with more confidence. Keep up the great work Damon.
this boy brings tears to my eyes. he is great a true all American hero
he cold he real humble too . much respect got mad load of game
Dude your handles are amazing!!
Great floater, perfect 3pt shot, the future best playmaker in Nba!!!
Im a freshman and I played with a lot of good hoopers when I was young in AAU then everyone else started developing their skills then all of a sudden my Freshman basketball year they dont make A team . Damon has a bright future but there is a lot of other players that still got a lot of developing to do and they can become just as great as him .
Korie Lucious was doing the same thing.. He was #1 in the nation as a 7th, 8th grader and the beginning of the 9th grade year with Tyreke Evans right behind him. Then everyone else caught up. This young boy will be nice.
He older than me by almost a year but we in the same grade and i NEED to get on his level. I just wanna make it in ball, and I got no help. I don't care what it takes imma always think about his game when I'm working out. He my motivation and I know I'm not good enough until I'm on his level.
You'll get there. Keep working hard.
Whenever you're not working on your game - somebody else with visions of greatness is. Get in the gym; stay in the gym - and you'll get wherever you want to go.
***** Thanks Man
So did you make it to college ball?
this kid has sick handles
Man he is cold I anit never seen a kid play like
He is the truth! He's the next great player to go to the Pro's hands down!
when he gets that height on him he will be unstoppable, that and a larger frame, hes still got a lot of time to grow.
I'm going in to 9th, and i must say that this kind of skill is abnormal, and he will be a monster if he continues
He play like Jamal Crawford to me his behind the back is crucial
This kid can play!!
Amazing! Mixtape good job"
Damon Harge is in the comment section with us! That's pretty cool
I think he's in highschool now. He's gonna be a monster!
some may call it flashy, but it's something else when you got uncle drew standing up on the sidelines
When this guy starts dunking he will be untouchable
According to the news, Damon is a starter at OCP. He was supposed to go to powerhouse Monteverde academy, but OCP is a smaller school. His dad stated that Damon has been in 3 high schools in the past 3 years and hopes to stay at OCP until graduation. He is currently 5'8 110lbs and he plays with 4 Seniors. He is the only Freshman on Varsity.
Really hope he hits a growth spurt soon
he will in a year or two
I was told that these are highschool athletes. He's competing with... He was small we he was in the 6th grade
i remember this kid when he was in the sixth grade
Do you guys not see the name of this video? 'Crazy Handles' quit over analyzing and watch the video for what it is. Not to mention the stats "31-1" This dude is worth a look.
Great handdles👍😎
If he uses his crossover as a go to move, then he will become the player everyone thinks he is. A crossover is suppose to allow space to create room for a open jumpshot or a lane to drive in. Him as well as the other players with SICK HANDLES would shift someone and wait around. The different is this kid is in 8th grade and still has time to develop and will. Lance Stephenson still does it.
Nasty Handles
I swear all left hand guards/fowards are unique
He reclassed
i swear this kid is in 8th grade every damn year
Looked smooth af when he slid at 1:17 lmao
this boy has a mean cross, I'm gonna say something crazy this kid needs to meet Adam Silver or at least GS warriors GM
I love music
🐐🔥
I know this kid is great, amazing handles, great shooter, and simply a playmaker. But i really want to see him against his own age group and against the top players in his class. I feel like he would dominate but it would be great to see him against some top pgs in his class like chase adams or atiba taylor and see how his team would do at aau nationals
hes to good for his own age group that's why he plays high school...he always played with people older than him
Mike Simpson I know that. But it would be nice to see him play against the top competition in his grade and play against teams like Team Izod or WACG. Take Darius Garland from WACG. He's one of the top pg's his class(the same as Damon) and he played on his varsity team as an 8th grader as well. But now he plays against his own grade and its good to see how he matches up with other top pg's in his class
broke a record at adidas Junior Phenom camp by scoring 50 points with 17 assists. that's what happens when he plays against people his age. in the 6th grade he averaged 31 points and he wasn't challenged enough. playing against people his age is not what he should do if he wants to get better.
DredHed Kingpin He haven't played up against everyone. There are so many diamonds in the rough, that is coming up, He is blessed to have the financial backings to get him the exposure to attend the expensive camps, and tournaments, but some players are coming a different route, and will meet up with him one day soon. Trayvon Ferrell (videos's on You tube) is a player, that can shut those jumpers down. Most of D shoots no one is guarding him. Most players don't like to play defense, and may one day he will meet up with Trayvon Ferrell (He's on YOU TUBE) Check him out .All around Athlete,Raw unpredictable talent. He's playing on his strengths, and working on his weaknesses.Damon only plays great offense, but don't see any videos of him playing hard core raw defense.Don't get me wrong he plays well on offense, and the publicity speaks for him, but he haven't meet his match, and believe Tray looks forward to playing either with him, or against him on a team.
I see Rose,Irving,Crawford,Cp3,Westbrook all in one plus his own Style! i can see him playing for UCLA!
he'll be at Kentucky soon!
and when the world needed him most, he vanished
At 5'8 your strides are not big enough to truly beat and leave your defender too. A lot of times the defender is still right there near him. Much respect to his work ethic.
now lets see the clips when he turns the ball over and goes 3 for 17 in a game
The kid just reminds me of Jamal Crawford with those shake and bake moves
Ayyy I go to school with this boy
finally a kid who has the fundamentals and not just a crazy vertical
i used to go to this school i left after 5th grade. Mr clarks class
This kid is gonna be better than his idol kyrie irving
Welp this comment didn't age well
52 s-55 s Damon's face Is classic
He gets buckets, but tht shooting form doe
oh guys btw he sad his birthday was june something 1999 hes suppose to be in grade 9 but was enrolled to grade 9 no bullshit its in one of his videos
I dont care what height he is, hes a great ball handler. And if kyrie is cheerin him on hes doin well
Hope you do well in life, kid. Basketball, while important, is just a subset of life. A good thing to do when you're in 8th grade is hang out with friends or do homework with your bud while eating some pizza, or lie in a hammock for half an hour thinking about the universe. Don't let your awesome potential become your awesome stress.
And he's only in the 8th grade...my goodness!!!
* CHECK OUT MY MIXTAPE - CLASS OF 2018 *
I can't believe it, kyrie irving is watching Damon Harge play
This kid got Jamal Crawford handles
Damon is gonna be 15 in April. I expect more height from dude. Well at least he grew one inch since I last recorded his stats. He's one inch shorter than Tyler Ulis. Not bad.
KYRIE I LOVE HIM SO MUCH AND TO KNOW THT HE IS HIS IDOL I LIKE THE KID ALOT MORE Lol
hope lil cuz makes it
1:18 that slide tho !!!
A lot of cross overs he has the defender beat but brings the ball back the other way towards his beat defender. I hope he grows 10 inches though 5'8 is too small. At least get to 6 foot and that's still small.
Where is he Today?
Damn he had kyrie on his feet!!
Did that 8th grader just dunk?!?!
His idol is o.j. Mayo
He's a smart pg, I like it. We need more Chris Paul pg's then everyone trying to be like Westbrook.
WOW
he going be pretty tall....look how big his feet are
how long is he ganna be in 8th grade
At 2:06 the kid that was defending Damon looks like Dante Exum.
Wow, this kid is still in the 8th grade?
numer 1 draft pick
His jumper looks like Shawn Marrions.
Has damon harge been in 8th grade for like 3 years straight? I Could have sworn dude was in 8th grade like 2 years ago lmfao
no his dad used to make him play up so he could get better
I bet his defenders get tired as hell xD
He's like John Wall but much more elite.
the nba might as well have a sign that says ballers not welcome because you never see moves like these in it.
jamal crawford? kyrie?
WoodDuck14 what hes trying to say is good defenders wont bite like high schools will and no one cares about flare in the nba
Lol dude at 1.11 really just gonna tie his shoes in the middle of the game though
Is he the next kyrie
my son is NICE!!
Back court? 1:51-1:52
Video should be called "8th grader does basic crossovers" lol
I want to see Damon harge vs. Jordan McCabe
fen games99 next up recruits just posted a vid of that matchup like acouple days ago , if you hadn't seen it yet
Can some one post a video of a young black kid reading a book, please !!!!
Its not his handle that makes him hard to guard its his quickness
He dribbles likes Rafer Alston aka Ship to my Lou.
How tall is he?
why was somebody tying their shoes at 1:10
Song name?
How tall is he
how does he play for a high school if he is only in middle school?
goes to a Academy School that has grades from k-12, and has one team.
