To be a grand parent is be completely unconditionally LOVED😊 My grand daughter would get so excited when I came visit, she’d jump up and down😂 My brother would say wow she doesn’t do that for me. I would say you’re not her grandfather. She couldn’t talk yet, but she knew her pop 😍pop. She’s got grandpa wrapped around her little finger.
I remember the first time I saw the baby Luca welcome from Oprah footage, I thought, this is so extra, but so wonderful! I couldn't help from smiling during the whole thing. The singing was great!❤

When my beautiful granddaughter was born, I understood immediately why being a grandmother is so amazing. Here's the deal:
When you're a parent, the weight of responsibility is super heavy. EVERYTHING that child will become rests on you. As a parent you love that child, you would die for that child, but the heavy load of responsibility crushes you a bit.
When that child grows up and has their own child, At That Moment, they now have that crushing responsibility. You, as a grandparent, do not. All you have is the deep, unshakable LOVE for that child... Plus a lot more disposable income!!! So while your grown child is now worried about the minutia of every parental decision, your concerns are which loud toy am I going to buy my grandbaby & how many girl Scout cookies am I going to buy from her. 👵 👶 🛎 🍪
It's similar being an uncle. I don't have to do anything but be fun and get my nephews presents.
Omg I can relate I am a new aunt and his name is Luca too lol. I never knew love like this. I feel he is the greatest love of my life I swear I would do anything for him 😭😭. Let's see how I feel when I become a mother, I can't imagine loving a person even more it's almost scary because how will I not be a helicopter 😔
One of my customer who became grandma told me once when I was just about to have my first kid, as a grand parent I don't have to worry about feeding, wiping.. I can just have all the fun and hand over the baby to my daughter once baby needs any of them..

Could I ask though. I ask seriously because I’m a 24 year old struggling with the idea of bringing children into the world. The world is so awful. Life is only fun when you’re a child and the it’s not very quickly. You have to work very hard to have the bare minimum. You spend most of your life forcing yourself through school and a job and everything else.How do you not carry tremendous guilt for bringing children into such a terrible world?

I'm a grandma to two little people ages 3 and 5. The 5 yr old is my favorite girl in the whole wide world. She reminds my daughter of that on a regular basis. (3 is my favorite guy, but the girl says the cutest darn things!) She keeps me in stitches!😇
And of course the oldest is usually always the favorite...speaking from experience 🤗🤗
