- We are taking an early look at the Target exclusive Mamenchisaurus from the legacy collection . It comes out about 4 feet long and it’s the last one from the movie canon. I can’t believe we actually got this from the lost world! Great to see Mattel moving past Jurassic park. And with each sauropod release they take the pros and cons and able to upgrade each new figure.

Got mine yesterday. Such a great sauropod and is nice to have this species. Mine has some of the ‘Dominion’ swirl on the front of his snout, first time seeing that on a Mattel Dino.
It really is! I’m so happy we have it in our collection!
I wonder if Mattel, at some point will release the Hammond collection version of all these sauropods, like they did with the Brachiosaurus, if so, then I will run out of space, and I would have to sell these to make room for the Hammond versions..🤔which I would not like, because they are really good figures, but they are really huge and space is a big problem with them. 🤷♂ anyway great vid like always bro.
Thank you very much! I wouldn’t mind if they do the apatosaurus for Hammond just to correct the proportion issue we currently have.
Yes, it would have been nice if you could take these figures apart for storage.

My only complaint is that you can not take them apart for storage. Also i think the Legacy and Hammond collection should be merged..
100 percent agreed! I wish they were all able to be taken apart. I wonder if it have anything to do with the joints being loose over time? I don’t know about merging the 2… well humans there really isn’t a differences between legacy and Hammond. But dinosaurs wise… i would rather keep Hammond its own thing . Legacy for the most part serves as a kids line so their deco, articulation isn’t going to be the best. While i welcome them adding more legacy element onto Hammond i think is best to keep those two as separate things. But i do wonder what will happen to sauropods next year now that we are done with all the movie cannon ones?
@@Keys2benz There are plenty more Sauropods to make. I meant killing the Legacy line and go full Hammond.
@@DMSL2007.....I'm not big collec to of JP so I don't care about how film accurate one version is over the other. For the extra $ they charge for the Hammond stuff I'll pass I don't see the big hype about that line .
@@williamwilkinson6665 Articulation and detail. The Hammond Brach is way better than the Legacy version.

man im such a brachi fan boy.. in awe of dread.. soft spot for apato.. but menchi is by far my fav sauopod. best proportions and color imo

Yeah it's really bad. If Mattel portioned the body correctly then elongated the tail with rubber wiring--and removed those stonk legs--this Sauropod might be the best gimmick the company could offer since Max Steel or Hot Wheels.
Mine has the same neck issue with the midpoint gap. One side looks fine, but the other side has a gap.
Oh no! So maybe a batch of them for this error then. I was hoping it was only mine with the issue.

Im torn on the waves thing. I liked thay dominion had 3 waves but oh my god theu had the worst and least amount of paint on their figures. No roar or massive action had paint onthe tail. Dino trackers every masive dino had tail paint. Some roar attacks too. But i just dont see why we cant have 3 waves of decently painted dinos. But if having only 2 waves means better than the dominion paint jobs then i guees thays what id rather have
Also i know this is asminy way too much but id like atleast 1 massive action or gigantic trackers figures per wave for every biome instead of just 1 total for each

I think they shrink the line down a bit with so much left over from dominion, but I’m happy that we still got the same amount of new species. The long time between waves it’s a killer tho… and it doesn’t help somehow most retailers dropped attack packs and savage strikes… hope things correct itself and get better with epic evolutions.
