Did you use a tripod for this? If so how did you get permission? I thought mbta didn’t allow them?

I've never had a problem at South Station and many others have used tripods there as well. It seems the commuter rail is a little more relaxed with that rule.

why mbta no have electric trains i see a catenary

all the catenary is for amtrak, most of mbta routes are non catenary. the mbta is looking into locomotives that can run off both in the future
