1. This war is between two neighbors. All else are the instigators.
2. No choosing thy neighbor on the global. Better negotiate and learn to live next to each other.
I love this show, but this was a joke of a conversation. Everybody was literally saying the same thing. There was no debate at all. All the points they offered were ridiculously impossible points that no rational person thinks about. What a stupid show this was.
Seems as though you should watch it again, and pay more attention when you do.
@@evaburnz I watched the whole of the show and all they argued on was that Russia was either to corrupt or incapable of doing much. The slummer guy in the studio was the only one who sounded a little bit sensible sometimes. I understand they all Support Ukraine, but that does not mean that you shouldn’t give a fair analysis of the capabilities and disadvantages of both sides. That is why they’ve all been shocked that Ukraine’s counter offensive failed. Whereas unbiased people would’ve known that Ukraine’s counter was never going to be a great success. Looking at the fact alone I’m taking out emotion.

What I get from watching this debate is that European Nato members should prepare for a future without US support. And planning for this scenario is actually a thing. «Buy European arms!». We should see Nato as a bigger « framework» to work within. Countries who share the same core values should work close to protect those values.

Short memory: Only people in Europe that experienced war in the last three centuries are from former Yugoslavia states, further east from Georgia, Tchetchenia (Dagestan?) and now Ukraine and Russia. France and GB (Turkey) mingled in Libya. France intervened in Mali and 1-2 african countries during internal unrests. Many european countries send troops to Afghanistan (Germany, Denmark, Netherlands?,Georgia, Ukraine?, GB, Italy and others) and Iraq for sure GB. I don’t know about the UN contingents sent by european countries in war zones. Turkey was a EU aspirant and has continuously fighting the kurds in Iraq and Syria. It depends on your age how many wars in Europe You remember ;)
East of Vienna is not Europe so Yugoslavia doesn't count! Except as noble, humanitarian intervention, which saved hundred of thousands from genocide, with mass graves which look like a joke compared to graves from Iraq since 2003.

Nobody is asking how well the trenches are designed? How well the medivac system is organized? Are injured Ukrainian stabilized by medics and evacuated within an hour and on an operating table within that hour? These questions are central to a modern army fighting for democracy.

After their victory in Avdeevka, Russian forces destroyed the first line of Ukrainian defense in the villages of Petrovskoe (Stepovoe) - Lastochkino - Severnoe and continue their advance to the west. As a result of their offensive, Russian forces are already storming the second line of Ukrainian defense in the villages of Berdychi-Semenovka-Orlovka-Tonenkoe. To the north-west of Avdeevka, Russian forces recently took control of Petrovskoe. The village is located in the lowlands. That’s why the Russian military does not accumulate a large forces there to launch the further assault on Berdychi. At the moment, Russian artillery and aircraft are pounding the villages of Berdychi and Semenovka, where the AFU attempt to strengthen their defense.
On February 26, the Russian Ministry of Defense officially confirmed the full Russian control of the village of Lastochkino. The Ukrainian military also confirmed the retreat from the settlement, despite the cheerful claims of the Ukrainian military officials a day before. Ukrainian defeat in Lastochino was no longer possible to hide.
After the Russian military completed the mop up operation in Lastochkino, they launched assault on the main Ukrainian stronghold of the AFU west of Avdeevka - the village of Orlovka. Both Russian and Ukrainian sources confirm clashes near the lakes on the eastern outskirts of the village. Amid the devastating airstrikes and artillery fire, Russian assault groups advanced along the highway and broke through Ukrainian defense near the village. The battles are ongoing along Brativ Paukova street.
At the same time, Russian forces launched attacks from the south-western outskirts of Lastochkino towards Tonenkoe and expanded the zone of their control in the fields. After Russian forces took control of Severnoe, they also managed to expand the zone of their control in the fields south of Tonenkoe, as well as launch their assault on the village from the east. As a result of the fast Russian advance, the village of Tonenkoe may soon be encircled from three directions. Clashes are already reported on its southern and eastern outskirts.
The second line of Ukrainian defense is the much better fortified and is more difficult to break through, but the pace of Russian advance in the region may mark the unreadiness of the Ukrainian military to fiercely fight for the villages, especially after their morale was destroyed by the defeat in Avdeevka. After the loss of Avdeevka, the Ukrainian army is still failing to align the frontline. The ‘planned withdrawal’ from the city leads to the same bloody retreat from other settlements in the region. This second line of Ukrainian defense may become the last one, since there are no further heavily fortified defensive lines in the field areas to the west.
