Why do the houses become different houses, every time you point to any house you label it the next number not what is written. I need to know why it changes, like when you point to the 8th house but call it the 9th.

You posses both energies, it means the cusps. I have that same problem . For instance Aries 1st house wit Pisces ascendant , YOUR ascendant rising sign becomes your 1st house , now Aries is 2nd house. Usually Taurus 2nd house it becomes your 3rd house all the way to your 12th .

Cuz originally it is the 9th house but 8 is sitting in it... Like originally 1st house is 1 but 12 that is piseces is sitting in it
