Excellent! That is Sci Fi of pure joy to watch! The story is sound and firm, from 1st second the viewer knows what is happening and the ending is nice. The personal story gives a dramatic twitch. Acting, CGI and VFXs top notched. Waiting for more.

very well put together, good effects and editing, it was predictable and formulaic, but just about every angle has been done to death, so i understand how hard it is to be totally original, all in all i enjoyed it, even if it was sort of sarah connors meets alien haha, would make a great tv series or expand into a full length movie, but obviously it would need more padding and character sub plots and twists, good job really good job,

For example, when it went to grab her head and she pulled back, if it lowered its arm just a few more inches and it would have torn her abdomen apart. Instead it's using it like a stabbing weapon or grabbing weapon at that point when it has so many other uses. (Including a bottle opener I bet).

There is also a group that suggest that there are human/alien hybrids human and alien genetic material combined to create humanoid children.

Also, for someone who used to be in special forces, she seems far too clean. It's been established that she's stuck in behind enemy lines, yet she's not wearing/carrying full gear and body armor. Where's the grime? Where's the powder burn? Where's the filthy hair? Furthermore, how did she take on all those creatures using only a kukri without taking a scratch? You'd think she'd have taken a couple gashes at least, maybe take an opportunity to show us patching herself up in the field. This film lacks verisimilitude.

CGI is pretty much top notched. I won't comment on the screenplay since it'll just come down to personal preference but, character development is not well fitted. This short is only 6 and a half mins therefore it needs to put more time on rendering the mother's rage right after her daughter's dead. Their "peaceful/cherishable time" is a bit too much. A proper transition between a mother and a vengenful worrier should brew her character much better then just a few second of her crying over a corpse.

The plot is not working. Anger doesnt make you marine, training does. She looks too weak, and aliens are too stupid. Pretty angry girl would do shit. They came to find "the key" and they seek it on dump? But I can appreciate the story, and propably on the budged you had it is ok. Animation looks pretty good. Amateur opinion.

On the whole the film is well done. However the casting of the main character drops the ball. Even if she had been physically large enough to have done what she was portrayed doing, I tire of the endless depictions of women in roles of power in order to convey a currently popular MISCONCEPTION that there is no inherent difference between men and women. I do not care what is politically correct the idea that in this scenario it is a woman who steps up to the plate is absurd. Much less a 95 pound woman like this one. politically correct is the idea that it is possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

ok :) aber die animationen waren bestimmt etwas aufwendig und dann könnte man doch die story bei so ner guten Arbeit etwas besser gestalten...fand es halt etwas schade :/ war trotzdem nice :D

The plot is not working. Anger doesnt make you marine, training does. She looks too weak, and aliens are too stupid. Pretty angry girl would do shit. They came to find "the key" and they seek it on dump? But I can appreciate the story, and propably on the budged you had it is ok.

On the whole the film is well done. However the casting of the main character drops the ball. Even if she had been physically large enough to have done what she was portrayed doing, I tire of the endless depictions of women in roles of power in order to convey a currently popular MISCONCEPTION that there is no inherent difference between men and women. I do not care what is politically correct the idea that in this scenario it is a woman who steps up to the plate is absurd. Much less a 95 pound woman like this one. politically correct is the idea that it is possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
