Nathaniel Cooper you can play some tool without a pick, like sober and aenima and 46 and 2 and schism i can play without a pick although schism is definitely easier with a pick
Not into songs that will b used 2 sell beer or cars, but u are very beautiful and would be an awesome addition 2 any band. BTW, please check out Jean Jaques Burnell. He was the bassist 4 The Stranglers & is among the most innovative player I've seen.

PacWac Just mute the note with your fretting hand and play it, unlike you normally play a note i.e., by pressing on a fret.
