they are all toys, the g923 feels very immersive in games that have it's features. And is good enough for 98% of people that enjoy racing games. 400 dollars... A real one about 6 months before this came out there was zero affordable DD wheels all around 2000 dollars for a setup. and Only a recent video shows that belt driven might be better him not having around 2k invested in his set up is laughable. Reviews where disingenuous too when comparing to fanetec from logitech. no one was as honest as goosie. I'd have gotten the t300 too if i had known that belts where quiet and smooth. and gear driven where so much more loud. There has been a ton of new products released that are affordable since this video was made. And when a lot of manufacturers seen that esports are getting bigger in the sim racing.@@nombom-km7wu
Dan, the best settings are just whatever you think suit your style most so just go through settings and change them up until you find what you're most comfortable with. Enjoy :)
Dan, i've been wondering if you would get this setup and you finally did. Please make more of these videos i would love to see this more and you make watching this type of games a lot more funny. especially at 9:49 to 10:18 where you changed the difficulty.
I have the same setup and I genuinely don't understand people who say they love cars and they want a more realistic experience, so they buy a racing wheel just to play in 3th person view with automatic shifting. I mean...
Dan, you should upgrade your racing setup video by video. That would be fun! first you can get a handbrake and then the three super wide monitors as though your actually in the car! I honestly think that would be cool, to see you enjoy the games that you play
Hey Dan, I would recommend turning the rotation up on the wheel to about 720 degrees of rotation if possible on forza because it is quite hard with it being very sensitive. Also I would thoroughly recommend grand turismo, and the manual shifter (the H pattern) as grand turismo is a fun arcade style game. If you are also interested into playing more relaxed games you can try out euro/american truck simulator on pc, and the wheel is also available for pc. Whatever you do, I will watch, I just gave you some recommended games and settings. You can also turn the wheel up to 900 degrees of rotation for even more if you want to. And importantly, enjoy the wheel! Edit: for forza turning traction control and stability control off will allow you to drift and skid better without any systems in the car interfering to try and keep you from oversteering.
The difficulty is better at average when you haven’t upgraded the car, the other cars adjust to upgrades but when you upgrade the transmission and tires you can really make it quick and with suspension upgrades you can improve handling. The character’s name also changes the dialogue, if the game knows your actual name or a name is in your account username it can change the dialogue, it doesn’t have every name but it has enough that a lot of player’s names are in the game’s dialogue options
If you want a great sim experience I recommend a thrustmaster or a moza wheel and id get an physical shifter and an ebrake. They really add so much to the experience.

And you must’ve selected your real name, meaning the speaker will always say that name regardless of the voice you picked, it’s sick
fun fact mister Dan..The I8 is actually powered by an inline 8 engine and a few electric motors.. more on that its a hybrid.. a mix of a ev and a gas car and the little glide you just did is called a powerslide.. basically it isn't considered as a drift but its a good use on entering corners without wasting any speed
No offence Dan, but you’re holding the wheel like you’re driving! hold it like you’re racing!! Also be a little bit more aggressive with the wheel and try to get early acceleration for better exits out the corners
you got some pretty nice cars but i recommend saving up for the jesko koenisegg it is the fastest car in the game and if you do the upgrades in the right way it can reach around 330mph
