I looked at those as well, but maybe the smaller models, however I didn't need the networking and the price per box was much less for the RCFs. I'd be curious to hear them, especially with the wood cabinets instead of polymer.
They are the RCF HDL6 array frames with the pole mount adapters on the bottom 👍 I kinda wish I had the lightweight ones too since they are lighter and simpler, but I paid enough for these so I'm gonna use em!!! 👏
Thanks for the reply. The online pictures of the ground stack/pole mount/fly rig look much bigger than that. I’ve never flown my HDL6A’s but have the lighter 3 speaker pole mounts and love them. I’ve done some really large outdoor fests with them and usually get told that they are too loud with more than 2 cabinets. The coverage of the 6” is pretty amazing. They are probably my favorite RCF speaker due to their coverage and throw.
Hey! We use Daslight 5 and an Akai 88 Midi pad. Our band doesn't run tracks, so all cue changes and hits / strobes etc are all done by Kale, our FOH guy! Each song is anywhere from 15-30 cues he has to hit "go" on. Each cue just consists of pre-programmed patterns, colors, movements etc that the lights do. There are a lot of manual punches and such that are added on top.
How were the 9006 and I plan to get one but it's expensive so I just rent 2 of them mostly big shows and how many people can 1 9006 handle for bands and nice setup :)
I’ve owned 9006’s 8006’s and Srx828sp the JBL wins for me with the price difference, I did a side by side with all of them outdoors and the srx828sp hold up. they are smaller and lighter also.
The 9006 is an absolute monster. It's the most transparent low end out of the JBL, DB, QSC etc that I compared it to. They are very pricey and for the money you could get 2 boxes of another brand. The JBLs mentioned are also very good and really hit you in the chest. 1 9006 can easily cover 200-500 people, but it depends on the genre. If it's heavy rock or anything that needs massive low end headroom, you'll want 2 cabinets of any dual 18 either way.
Absolutely sick setup. Awesome time to be alive production wise. Sounds great
Awesome house. Great place to have a gig.
Love to see a fellow StudioLive user ✊
sound check sounds real nice.
Thanks! The low end was definitely hitting the compressor on the camera mic 😆
Venue: Can you bring your own PA?
Evan: Be careful what you wish for 😈
(Nice shirt btw)
Cool vid!
I'd go with jbl SRX910LA's... Your thoughts?

what are you using for a lighting controller?
I'm using Daslight 5 and one of their little USB DMX interfaces. It works great for what I need it to do!
I always do at least two dummy checks.
I call it an idiot check. But dummy works 😂
What pole mounts are those? They don’t look like the RCF ones.

Hey what are you using to run your lights? They appear to be in time with the songs you’re playing???

the 8006’s are super loud for rock and country type music but don’t go low like the other 2, they sound kinda like a qsc181 but better
@@TylerMarletteNYgotcha, I will check out the JBL srx828sp thanks for the input on them!

Is every song supposed to be a snare drum solo? Is that what you’re really going for?
