Layout Update 7 15 23 - Benchwork Complete!

- Major benchwork is now complete on the HO B&LE. From the start, this took nearly 2 years to complete to this point. Locomotives in this video are Proto 2-10-2's representing the B&LE D2A class, of which they had 5. My models have been upgraded to TCS wow sound V3.
Congratulations on a job well done on the bench work. It is so nice to see your completion and the tidiness of the layout area. Construction work always is a mess to deal with. You should be proud! Now the fun part of laying tie and rail is at hand. I look forward to seeing your progress. Again fantastic work.

Im so glad I mentioned Unity Junction. The Unity Railway's last Engine (SW8 #53) and Caboose (#53A) still exist.
On the opposite side of Interchange of the C&H and the Bessemer, there was a train station called Red Raven, then River Valley/Harmarville. You can tell where the station is on an overhead photo where the open gravel area is would be an easy addition.
That said, the industrial district and C&H are backwards, lol.

You are correct, there are a few things that are backwards on the layout. Concessions to how things flowed with the space mostly.

Curious, will you have a B&O interchange in Butler?
Yes, the b&o will be non functional but inbound and outbound tracks.
Will also have the erie at shenango and nkp at Wallace.

@admiralseabass8993 correct, 2 operating branches, western Allegheny and erie. Thank you for the kind words, I hope it'll be epic. Gonna Take a long time to get all that secondary track built out. Nice thing about the bessemer in this era, plenty of line side industry & merch traffic. Plus the coal and ore conveyor belt going in the background. Luckily, in a great group of guys to help with ops.
