First time I open a shroud or otherwise deal with a motor like that I always take a big sharpie and draw an arrow of rotation for permanent reference.

if you have the space and power you can buy horizontal computerized panel saws at auction dirt cheap I bought my 97 Mayer 10 years ago on line auction for 1000 dollars in has a scoring plate 12 ft beam and cuts 4 sheets at once. they are a pain to move so they sale dirt cheap because their not that desirable except for big shops . I can cut 40 sheets in 4 hours .

That's amazing! Wow! Well we recently upgraded from this milwaukee to a large panel saw from. Maksiwa and I can do almost half your rate which for me is still a really big Improvement

believe me! your life will change. ive had the bigger unit for 38 years ( still looks as new as yours ) i started wayyyyy back in the mid 90s building subwoofer boxes for car audio. mad a fortune and i credit this tool for it. always laser straight 90 degree factory quality cuts. far safer than a table saw and way faster than a track saw.
