I can't get it from I believe DFU mode (did the key sequence screen went black) to the next step. I plug in the data cable and it boots right back up into Activation Lock Mode.

Mine bypassed successfully. I’m at the reinstall macos, I’m not able to get past through the installation process… I get errors but while bypassing my laptop, it’s TouchBar didn’t have that mysterious effect as yours did… am I doing something wrong? Please help
