NOT EVEN TRAINEES!) were getting IVs pulled out of their arms to perform on stage, coughing up blood during rehearsal, fainting on stage, getting crazy stalker situations (getting pictures sent to them in their own home, attempted kidnapping on stage), getting blacklisted from the industry for speaking out, and paid practically not even half of their earnings as idols. don't believe videos like these, they're saving face. idols have admitted to having experienced verbal and physical abuse, dehydration and isolation in their dorms, not being allowed phones even years after their debut etc.

You're not forced to diet because if you don't meet the requirements they'll just cut you off, that's why trainee still diet if they're serious about it. Big companies can afford not burdening their trainees with debt only because they have the resources.

I think sm literally only takes what 40% maybe 30% I can't remember the exact number but the idols get most of their profit from their performances. Ethically and business strategy SM has it going on, just the length of the contract sucks 🤷‍♀️

Plus according to BlackPink themselves, 13 days straight with only one day off which includes 14-16 hours per day. This includes language, 2-3 singing, 3-4 dancing and coming up with them own lyrics, own dance chore's as well as picking their own outfits. @@gis__le so who cares if they have bts? hybe doesnt have enough history and achievements to include them in the big companies.
      jyp, sm and yg have wonder girls (+ miss a), snsd (+ f(x)), 2ne1, red velvet, twice, blackpink, nmixx, aespa and baemon.
      if you really wanna add a company to the big 3 you woukd add starship. (sistar, wjsn and ive)

    • @gis__le
      @gis__le Місяць тому

      @@cherriyeojin I dont like hype but when we talk about achievements and history BTS took this whole art to another level. What BTS did is equivalent to the history of all these companies, but it is also against them , let us think about it. Despite their short presence in the industry, BTS preceded them in paving the way to America and the world, even though they started from a small company and without workers or resources.

    Its good for SM to give freedom in terms of diet but well if they were to choose whom to debut the weight factor is still there... so its like a self decision or somekind of no choice also..
    If u really want to debut you will go thru such measures tho.
    IF YOU REALLY WANT TO HAVE A CHANCE ON DEBUTING... YOU SHOULD DIET AT UR OWN EXPENSE.

    I’m not surprised, as whenever SM debut groups (I’ve only noticed girl groups), they are typically “plumper” than after their debut. Yeah, they’re still considered thin, but I think their excessive diets are after their debut.
