Trains at Alderley Edge - 18/05/21

Video: An afternoon spotting trains at Alderley Edge station situated on the Crewe to Manchester and West Coast Main Lines, this spot features passing Avanti West Coast and TfW services heading to/from Manchester Piccadilly, some stopping Northern services to/from Crewe, Manchester Piccadilly, Liverpool Lime Street and Southport, and a passing freight move heading to Trafford Park F.L.T. with 70014 leading.

Avanti West Coast Class 390 Pendolinos, Northern Class 323s & Class 769 Flex, Transport for Wales Class 175, and a Freightliner Class 70.

The 769 was a terminating service from Southport, they put it on the down platform to keep the up line clear. It then goes to a reversing siding just outside the station and returns at the end of the video.
