I can’t begin to imagine the thought and planning that had to go into the creating of this model. But then add in the detail you have managed to incorporate into it with the windows, panels and such is truly one hell of an achievement. Not to dismiss the size of this model, which is considerable large than your average models. Truly excelled yourself with this one. This is not a criticism by any means, but I think a stand is a must for a model like this. As others have suggested the ability to add LEDs would be amazing, how lever than would involve another level of planning if even possible with your style of model. But once again, Outstanding sir, bravo!
Just finished printing this on my CR6 Max. No problem fitting multiple parts together on the bed and left to print. Easy to follow video while putting together. Now I need to start the print for the stand. Thanks!
Im printing this scaled up for my 600mm volume machine lol. Itll be almost 2 meters long. Gonna hang it in my garage. Will share some pics on maker world when it finishes
@fab365_official a month later ive got about half the parts printed. Ill definitely share. I shared my xwing and the 3mf on your comments section there too. Thanks for your awesome website!
Amazing , back in 1977 the Star Wars studio prop builders could only dream of this main stream tech of 2020's as they had to search through the hundreds of Tamiya kits .
@Fab365 I tried using Silk filament and it kinda came out crappy. So what filament did you use for yours? Cuz your Star Destroyer came out amazing in your video.

Great Thanks Fab! Is there a possibility you could share the actual workfile obj or so? So we could add details but still use this as a base? it would be truly fantastic. Cheers
FYI, Early models had individual fiber optic threads laboriously fitted to the interior, later it was deemed more efficient to drill out the lit areas, and use an interior bulb as a bank light source ! ~liked ~subed ; )
I mean has anyone talked about how dialed in that printer is? I been printing a long time and this has to be one of the best looking print jobs I have seen.
Is this @ the same size as the old MPC/AMT kit? How difficult would it be to modify the design to reflect the Tector class Star Destroyer? It has no big hangar because it carries no fighters, landing craft, dropships. It also has @ double the number of guns. It's a pure battleship. I'd need separately molded gun turrets, and a LOT of them, plus extra deflector shield domes to build my modified version.
How in the heck is that printed so clean?? I'm not seeing layer lines and the details look crispy enough to be resin! Are optimal settings included with the STL files?
Very cool. Does the Locktite Super Glue haze over? I've found the superglues/crazyglues that I've tried have a nasty tendency to leave a white haze on prints and I had to switch to B-7000 glue which works great but it would be nice to be able to use a super glue at times.
I have had good luck with Bob Smith Industries super gold plus super glue. It doesn't haze on clear styrene parts and I believe it's foam safe as well.
Apologies in advance if this is a dumb question. I'm new to 3d printing and was wondering, can this be printed on a resin 3d printer or is it just for filament ??
Love the model the only thing I don't like that can be done differently and this is with all printed models is the guns along the side they need to be actual turrets not a print
Hello. What instant glue did you use? Just built your model, did not come out as well. The tolerance are super tight. Managed with some sandpaper, but it is a awesome build.

That is amazingly well designed, the assembly alone was a joy to see. Bravo sir, bravo.
Thank you for watching and comment!!! Please enjoy~
Very nice! I'd love to see some Star Trek stuff in the future, really enjoying the Star Wars builds as well!

Outstanding model! I just downloaded and will begin printing in a couple of days. Thanks!
Hope you enjoy it!
If you can add an option for some LED lights it would be epic!
Agreed 😊 and a final shot of a painted one! ❤ AWESOME work.
Take a pin vise and drill out some windows.
Oh god, out of all the prints, I want this one... made out of glow-in-the-dark filament!
😲 Currently printing the Millenium Falcon.. Now I know what is next!! Thanks for the work!!
Totally amazing!! What Star Wars vehicles next? A Sandcrawler or a Sail Barge may be???? 🤔
The detail is incredible

What a fantastic model! All it needs to finish it off is a tiny Millennium Falcon to glue to the side of the bridge (as from "Empire Strikes Back"! 😃
Ce Star Destroyer est magnifique comme tous vos modéles. ;)
Amazing , back in 1977 the Star Wars studio prop builders could only dream of this main stream tech of 2020's as they had to search through the hundreds of Tamiya kits .
Honestly it probably helped creativity to have to do that.
yeah im most definitely modding mine for resin printing so i can eliminate all gaps and get a really lovely painted model.
Mis felicitaciones por el diseño, es francamente espectacular. Un trabajo brillante.
Thanks for watching and comment. Please enjoy~
Well done. The way the parts interlock at various points, very well done!
I am making mine with a silver filament! can´t wait...!
(what kind of glue are you using on the video?)
@Fab365 I tried using Silk filament and it kinda came out crappy. So what filament did you use for yours? Cuz your Star Destroyer came out amazing in your video.
Another amazing model! ;) Going straight to the basket!

Well now I know what I’d try making if I had a 3D printer XD awesome work!
what printer is this and what is the material? Looks fantastic
I used various printers, like Prusa MK3, MK4, Ender 3 S1, etc...
@fab365_official I tried using Silk filament and it kinda came out crappy. So what filament did you use for yours? Cuz your Star Destroyer came out amazing in your video.
Very cool! But no supports needed?? I saw very few to trim off.
No supports needed. Please enjoy~
I love this! Just wondering what filament was used? I've been after a grey in that shade for ages.
I used right grey PLA.
Wtf! Wow amazing work dude, subscribed 👏👏
Wow! Thanks for subscribing! Please enjoy my videos!
BEAUTIFULLY DONE!
Thank you! Please enjoy~
What kind of glue do you use when it's needed ? Is it just normal Cyano-Acrylate superglue ?
Awesome model and print ! I love the filament used, what is the brand and color ?
thank you
I used right grey from colorfabb.
Thank you 👍
I've printed the Razor Crest and AT-AT. I can't wait to print this one 🍺
are you going to do a Battlestar, Babylon 5 or stargate ships?
I can only dream of being able to print such things when I get one to do it
WOW!!! Just WOW...

pretty nice quality! Looks larger than 1/4500 scale to my eyes.
you could put light blue LEDs in the thrust nozzles with cotton ball overlays for a thrust effect? Anyone know better ways to do that?

I use this glue. www.shop.fab365.net/loctite
Love it, it's a big one.
Thanks for watching~ Please enjoy big one~
Amazing. What's the length of it? Whatever it is, must....print....BIGGER
That's the first thing I looked: how big can I scale it on my printer. 😁
Looks amazing! Can the prints be scaled in slicer easily? If the build plat is 230, how big could this be printed?
Amazing work.
Thanks for watching! Please enjoy~
massive work!
Thanks for watching! Please enjoy~
This looks amazing. Which material is best to print it and not lose the detailing ?
Light grey is good for this design.
Bravo. Well done sir.
Doo want!
wonderful work.. what material did you use? PLA? ABS?
I use PLA. Always.
Sorry for the noob question. I haven't even bought a printer yet. Would the flashforge adventurer 5m be able to print something this big?
What about a space 1999 eagle?
No stand?? Opportunity missed 😢
Solid work, thanks for making it available.
Stand is coming soon!
The detail and the assembly process are both impressive. What was the adhesive you were using?
He uses brush Loctite super glue.

what is the filament color?, is some gray or white? Please some info color and producent.
Filament color is light grey.
Any difference between Silk and PLA filaments?
Does the brush become hard over time?
Thats incredible! What colour filament is that?
Thank you~ I used right grey pla filament.
Is super cool. So how are you dealing with copyright selling models of copyrighted works on your site ?
How to have the same print quality as you??

Nice model but hard to grasp the size. How big is it?
How did you design it?

@@MRgrimlock84 is it the glue you use with the paintbrush ?
@Manuparis no it comes in a standard super glue bottle. I have used old paint brushes and tooth picks to apply it though.

Where do you get that glue you use and what's it called?
How are you getting such quality of print on fdm..
I clean and change nozzle very often. And I print very slow.
@fab365_official Like how slow exactly?
Is there a link or site where we can tip you?
The best tip for me is for you to sign up for FAB365.net and purchase paid items.
