- Some Kind of Girl was the second single from The Cockroaches 1987 eponymously named album The Cockroaches. The film clip for Some Kind of Girl (written by John Field and Paul Field), was shot in Sydney and was a very stylised clip with the band in suits and ties with flowing and swirling fabric and the drums wrapped a la the French artist Christo. However, this clip is a live performance on the national music show Countdown, from the Melbourne studios. All up, there were four singles and four film clips released from The Cockroaches debut album.

I didn’t know that this song is independent. When is the cockroaches is gonna have a anniversary album 💿 where they remastered and remix their album 💿 I wanna hear positive remix album 💿 and their debut album 💿 remastered and remix now that’s something that I would like to see and don’t forget demos and rarities and live concert audio and unreleased photos too?
we arent sure that there would be a demand for such a thing or the funds to cover such an investment as most music is no longer bought, just streamed. Sorry mate
