Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture. With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

Just... any time Jim is on screen it makes me smile. What a great guy!
It is so great seeing Jim back on the farm! So glad he is feeling better!
I couldn't agree more, Jim is a great asset to the farm & even better friend of the family. 😊
@@leddielive take it one further, Jim is a National Treasure.
@donzender9008 he's a Snowflake😂
Yep
"To be fair". I love the Letterkenny reference.
🎵 "To be fair TO be FAyrE" 🎵
All your shuffling explains why I see so many farms with barns or equipment sheds laid out so everything is side by side, one row deep.
More times that not it’s nothing but running and shuffling😂
FIRST
SECOND
Second!!
aw you beat me to it😔
To be faaaaiiirr...
Feh. Only losers still do the FIRST thing. 🤪😉
Your Deere engines are being operated under heavy load large percentage of time as opposed to some that have higher idle time. That helps lower emission system problems.
Jim is incredible! So glad he is back!
Johe Deere Shuffle' Sounds like a top 10 hit for sure
Definitely a lot going on it never stops
You are so lucky to have Jim. A valued employee and a good farm friend. J.Au-en
I’ve spent the last 2 months watching every video you have posted on your channel and just got to this one today. Keep up this amazing content
Thank you so much, I appreciate that!!
1:22 That's the great thing about a dirt floor, you never need to sweep up the dirt.
I’ve been waiting for that 12” of snow episode that Mother Nature bestowed upon Minnesota & North Dakota. Got stuck in Fargo during that mess, and they didn’t even get much 😂
Yea we hardly got anything. It was the ground Blizzard that made it bad. So glad I didn't have to go to work that day
God damn Jim’s truck looks good. That blue really pops
Thanks for the day of laughs. Big time farming is not easy. I still remember. The last of the one row corn picker. And a wagon pulled by two faced mules.
What is it with America on a cold start? A cold start is never a problem in Sweden. 😂
Never a dull moment.. 👍.
Bunny bad. Bad Bunny! Cheers 🇨🇦
Great to see Jim getting back into it. He is a great guy and fits well into the Millennial family. All a great group. Thanks Zack, Great video!!
Thanks for another great video Zach and Becky.
It was interesting and enjoyable.
Busy busy time in the shop right now. Lots of routine maintenance to do.
Good to see Jim out helping and driving truck. Good person there. Excellent help.
Jim helped Zach with maintenance on the tractors. And delivered grain.
Always shuffling of equipment between buildings and inside the building. Constantly changing locations. Yeah.
One of these days show us your new planter and tractor to pull it. New used equipment I guess.
Hang in there. Lots going on with getting ready for spring work.
See you got a muffler clamp for the old moline. Now you can fix the muffler. Yeah.
Thanks for everything Zach and Becky. You all take care and be safe.
The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
So good seeing Jim back and doing good.
Welcome back Jim! We missed you and hope your feeling better
Good to see Jim back he’s a handy guy to have around Derek .
Jim is looking great....
Thanks for sharing! Tootles.
Thanks for tour of the machinery. Unexpected but a nice surprise 😊
3:12, beautiful LetterKenny reference.
I was shocked to see it on here!
@@matthartley1379 I’m not for some reason. Right sense of humour and they are a hockey family. 😀
Love it. Tractor Tetris.
JIM, damn it’s cold…pure poetry.
It is so good to have Jim back! I hope Dad will be back on the videos soon!
Getting things prepared for Jim or any help, is a job in itself.
Good to see Jim back.
Great job Zach!
Looking forward to spring planting and it's great that Jim's back to help on the farm. Stay safe and May God bless you all.
Thanks for sharing!
Instead of using wood for under the trailer legs. The company I used to work for used old worn out disc blades, we welded a chain to the disc and to the trailer leg and a peg to hang the disc on the trailer leg. Works great and spreads out the weight so no sinking in worked fields. Obviously invert the blades so it is not a dome.
It"s so good to see Jim out on the farm.
I am so thankful that Jim is back.
Betcha one of those ROOMBA's would work like a champ keeping that floor cleaned up. LOL
There are Models for rough Environments… not that rough but nearly.
Watch Larson farms on that lol. Waste of 💰
His name is Onyx, not roomba.
I doubt it would😂
Great Letterkenny reference..."To Be Fair"
Nice to have a guy who can help with maintenance and not have to check up on him. Lucky to have Jim back.
Man it is so good to see Jim. Zack I think Jim makes your videos better. I bet you are glad you went bigger with your cold storage shed. It seams to me that you try to catch yourself coming and going. Thanks for the video
Really Love To Watch your Videos. 😍😍
Great video. You’re always entertaining with your narrative 😂😂
Great video!
awesome video Zach. Jim is looking real good. So happy for you to have your buddy back. Thank you guys and great job
Thanks for the show guys 🍻 🇦🇺
A little music, some creative editing, and you could get a very nicely choreographed tractor dance video out of all that moving. 😉
That was great!
Great video. Thanks for sharing it with us!!
But what would your Fit Bit think of a monorail???
That's a Garmin, bruh
I enjoy your videos. Thanks for sharing your farm life with us.😊
They make plug in cables for a service truck. That protects electronics and have a circuit breaker that only allows a battery to drop to 50% saves on battery and quick disconnects to pull batteries to trickle charge batteries. So why not spare set of tires for your semi
When winter is here I use winter oil weight. That helps with starting.
Farm Life Looks Awesome
I got the same quad I love it
Dang, nice angle on hooking up the header
A Letterkenny reference. Nice!
New John Deere has no DEF 👌
Thanks for the Sun to warm the planet up.
That sure is a nice spray trailer.. looks like it’s well laid out.
Good to see you Jim! You to Zach.
Hi from Sweden we had spring flowers and 10°c Monday now we have -1°c and 3" of snow 😂
Put the bunny back in the box! Great to see Jim back!
I know that new bin has been there for a while, but wow, that thing really dwarfs the rest of the site.
Ah it’s good to see Jim back! Hello old boy!
Would really like to meet you and your family I live in a rural area of Alaska and am fascinated by your lifestyle.
I was feeling a little down today but after watching you jump around and moving all the gear made my day a whole lot better thank you
spring time is very brain storming
Trailer blocking should go front to back. That way if you bump the trailer back or forward it doesn’t fall off the block.
Great video Zach and Becky thank you for sharing and your time can't wait for next video thank you
Love it
Give us an updated and full machinery/farm tour! :D has been more than 5 years since the last one.
It is great to have Jim (Mr. Comic Relief) back!!
Wooo, more quality Jim content!
Zach , I like y’all’s oil drain/ fill setup, that’s pretty neat.
Gearwrench makes locking flex-head ratchets, they work a lot better for undoing drain plugs one-handed while holding a camera (10:56)
In the trucking industry we usually refer to the feet as landing gears or dollies
I love having equipment that doesn't require any DEF. 🙂
It is even nicer when it doesn't have EGR either
Awesome video Zach. I definitely couldn't climb in and out of all that equipment any more. I'm doing good if I make it back up out of the basement 3 times a day. 🚜🚜🚜
we love jim!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great video. Caught the Letterkenny reference.
Pleased to see, Jim is looking good!
Hi 👋🏻
My son has a detail business in Rochester, I don't know how far you are from there you are but look him up. It's called Double take Detailing and Coating.
Closing in on the start of seeding/planting
Always an exciting time of year!
Makes a rainy day better
It is a shuffle
Love the videos.. Just a tip for you. Save some of your used engine oil and you can harden your own sweeps and save some cash. All you have to do is heat them up with a torch until they are a dull red and quench them in the used oil until they are cooled down. You can do this with you mower blades as well and they will last a lot longer..
They all start great at the dealer
Add a ground cable from starter to frame..I seen this on some of my trucks...it will fix the problem
Well come ji
The Ol' John Deer Shuffle...I'm just sitting here chuckling.
yes a mono rail would be a great idea i bet the grain system folks have a model
*Tractor throws def code*
Back in the 70's We farmed 1200 acres in northeast Iowa and never had more than two tractors! How the heck do you stay in business with so much new equipment? You must have over half a dozen tractors!
We have over 20,000+ acres. If you not ready to spend you won’t keep up with the amount we have. But of course none of our stuff is brand new either
Lol. Look Jim is changing the oil on the snow plow tractor!!!
If I couldn't see you I would swear I was watching BFF with all of the change of plans😂😂
Thanks
hopefully it’s a good year for you. The last four years for our farm have been very prosperous. This year I’m hoping for the same magic.
