$500?! Timex American Documents Collection - Is It Worth Your Time?

Thank you to JR for lending me this time piece for the review.
I bought this watch on sale, I had see all the criticism on UA-cam so I was predisposed to not liking it. I unboxed it and put the watch on, I thought hum not much to look at, white dial, stainless steel case, and a black leather band. Then something strange happened, I started to like it, the simple uncluttered dial, comfortable fit and elegant on the wrist with a jacket. Not only that but other people noticed and commented on how nice it looks. My assessment is if you like it buy it and enjoy wearing it. This time piece is simple, elegant, and comfortable. The fact that all the parts except the movement, are made in the USA is a plus. Is it worth $450? Yes
It‘s just 3mm too large for what it wants to be. I like the style, but prefere to wait on something similar in 38mm.
agree with a lot of comments..... until we can source materials or buy materials to at least assemble in the USA I love the idea of American made, we all should be sick and tired of anything made in china...... that said I would consider this watch more if it was smaller and thinner.... but Right on Timex overall
So.... your wrist will get stained green from the brass on the caseback. It's cool and pretty but just makes no sense.
But I definitely want it and am saving up for it.

For myself it featureless, bland, all the reviews I had seen on UA-cam have shown a very small date window, looked a bit too big on your wrist, needs less words to describe the watch.
500$ for a timex quartz watch??? Hell no!!! If it was automatic, had made in usa on bottom of dial, some sapphire glass with stainless steel case and back mabe, bro if you paid 500 for that you got taken. You can get an amazing automatic seiko for less.
When I heard you say that the box is part of why the price is so high, I stopped the video.
From the moment you did that, you actually told me you're a con man, that's receiving some type of personal benefit from Timex. You'll lie and say anything just to make a buck.
Some of us actually support and only buy made in USA. Buy Chinese if you want. You're supporting communists.
I mean a more premium box does correlate to a higher price point, not saying it justifies it, it does contribute to it.
