A lot of players were scared that Kuro would tone down the generosity after 1.3's Parade of Stars But it seems like they just took all of those rewards and spread them out across the Illusive Realm Enjoying this game has never been easier
WuWa needs to win the Game Awards. I doubt it will bc the game is more niche than we realize... but I want them to get more recognition bc they deserve it, so my fingers are crossed. They are likely saving PS5 release for the Game Awards
@lindthechaoticheretic8708 Yeah... I actually don't think so here. I think Pokemon has a better chance than ZZZ. A free character isn't guaranteed. We shall see though. With Hoyo, a free character is a gamble. In Wuwa a free character is meta breaking. In pokemon... free packs/cards are a nostalgia high lol
@@exidon2604 personally I don’t care about rewards I just care about what they will do to make the game better such as making a permanent version of illusive
It's so absurd how Genshin is still running the same system, like the moment I got camellya and her weapon I was able to take her and her weapon to max lv in two days (I could have done it in one day but I play it casually) compared to Genshin when I got my kinich it took me around a month literally, just to take his elemental skill to lv 10, mostly due the weekly boss farming restriction- let's leave wuwa out of the equation for a moment- like hsr and zzz let us farm the same weekly boss 3 times the week and the material farming is way better there than Genshin what's the excuse that doesn't make them improve the quality of Genshin?
No excuse , simple enough. It's in their other games and they could've done better 4 years ago , instead of needing a competition to push a stick near their asses to feel forced to fix their bs that they made their selves and simply sold the solution 😂
That’s why I hate pulling for characters and weapons because the farming for ascension materials is so restricted and needing to wait certain days to level characters up
@@osaiosai5 no this just a lame excuse that people make just to feel better , a lot of companies think about a lot of things aside from money. It's ppl who aren't educating enough about the topic who talk about only money meanwhile the companies have more things to worry about. The only thing that is far from assumptions is that the genshin's devs aren't good enough
When the Genshin Dev mentioned the anixety thing due to end games, that is when i realised that the genshin dev not only doesn't care but they can straight up lie through their teeths. They don't mind adding new FOMO elements but somehow worried about anxiety due to harder content.😂 When Da wei cried, i knew those were crocodile tears and their dev doesn't disappoint.. Sad that so many hopeful genshin players were so excited for Natlan release only to get conditional upgrades that is not at all player friendly
It's just sad at this point to see those hopefull poor ppl cope each patch for improvements to the point of reaching fake positivity were they think anything they get is good enough. And to think that I'm still playing it for the hope of better content is even worse 😂💔 ( I'm still playing it just to see how bad can it go + plus ik it won't change so i can leave anytime 😂 )
After 5 years, there is so much unnecessary 'tedious' exist in genshin farming/grinding. It amazes me how a 5 years old game can be this un-optimized/tedious/inefficient
I just hate how much QOL changes appear as a part of a new characters kit. Imagine the last few character movement just being a part of the base game? The game would have a 2nd wave imo. The whole thing that makes Wuthering Waves so much easier to get into is the movement, at least for me. I don't feel like it's a chore running right around the corner while Genshin I'm stopping for stamina after a brisk jog. And sometimes you can't even use them properly until you get a few copies of them. WuWa? Sure some copies dramatically change how potent a character can be but for the most part? 90% of their kit is at S0. Unlike Genshin where it feels like I'm playing 25% of a character.
Playing the game now with various QoL improvements feels pretty great, they've solved a lot of the issues I had with the game at launch, most important of which were the performance issues that forced me to quit lmao. The tracking system for farming specific enemies could be improved (I would love to be able to select more than 1 enemy to track) but it's so much better than needing to rely on a 3rd party map, which I hated doing. Same applies for ascension materials and overworld chests (lootmappers are a godsend).
@@GigachadGggsskj You can only hold 5, every other game has an overflow so it isn't wasted. I lost resin for years since i only played about once every 24 hours.
@@GigachadGggsskj its only 5 condensed, and since you have to craft it. You have to teleport to a crafting bench craft it, teleport to the domain to use, if you still have resin remaining, teleport back to repeat the process a 2nd time. Not to mention farming crystal flies. I've played genshin for 4 years so I can get away with not even farming artifacts anymore, but if I had to start over from the beginning Wuwa takes the cake.
NGL... When I used to Farm and Grind Materials in Genshin, it literally felt like a Fever Dream. The Exploration is Absolutely Dogshit and they just lack Enough Materials to Minmax an Artifact or a Character within a Reasonable amount of Time cause some are "LITERALLY TIME GATED". That's why I love what Kuro has Done with Wuthering Waves... Every Material is easy Enough for you to grind and acquire with just exploring the map and defeating enemies. And Talent Materials can just be acquired anytime as long as we have enough Waveplates... SIMPLE AND EFFECTIVE 🔥
Omg yes, the exploration in Genshin feels archaic in comparison to WuWa, I still play both games and every time I switch from WuWa to Genshin it is so painful. The possibility to just run everywhere without worrying about stamina and just run up the walls makes it soooooo much more enjoyable to traverse the world, sometimes I don't mind running from one place to another because it feels so satisfying, while in Genshin if there is no waypoint nearby I dread to go because it will take ages. Kuro has done an amazing job.
@@kotominekirei7330 it's hoyoverse, do you really expect them to give a shit about something when it doesn't earn them money? QoL clearly means nothing to them. They've hardly improved anything related to QoL in genshin after 4 years. Yeah I guess some characters have unique traversal abilities but those abilities are locked behind limited characters lmao. You literally have to pay for some QoL improvements since only specific characters have them.
@@WadeWontson I never expect something good from the release of the game (you know when the first event needed resin to claim the rewards?) and my expectation was further lowered and lowered until it completely *poof* on the first first anniversary (and not to mention those copy paste animations). So yeah, don't expect something from this game. Glad I dropped it before the Simulanka event.
i whaled like 50 bucks and PGR and i dont even play the game anymore, sometimes i regret but then i see how much they deserve it and i forget the regret and instead i am happy.
Solon my goat did an amazing job with wuwa especially the latest patches , I'm so proud that the game I'm supporting deserves the support and is actually a good product for consumers 🗿🔥
I hope wuwa devs team are all healthy and happy working on the game and keep improving, I wish all the best for them and I'm grateful that they blessed us with the amazing contents we enjoy now, cheers to the wuwa devs!!🎉
5:05 Another issue about this is the fact that, if the character is new, you have absolutely no idea about what materials said character uses. So what do you have to do to know that beforehand? That's right. *watching leaks.* With Kuro games, on the other hand, with these quality of life changes and telling already to the players what the characters ask and needs, by the time said character arrives you should have enough materials while also enjoying the game. Seriously, you don't even need to compare it to Genshin. One benefit that live service games have is the fact that they can improve over time. The problem is that such benefits were never used for good... until now. We have gotten so many qol changes that 1.0 Wuwa looks like a trash game in comparison (not saying it was bad in the beginning, but you get the idea)
I can safely say that 1.0 was bad, But not entirely unplayable and in comparison with the current version it's crazy to think how much a lot has improved since released.
Saying that wuwa 1.0 is trash ( no bad ) is crazy , have you even played the first release of genshin, it's unplayable. Instead of saying it's trash, should have gone for " it's decent
try Snowbreak as well, they respect your time and give you a LOT to do and give you free event weapons, best gear for said 5 star and each event is good enough to get the limited 5 star for that patch for free. I barely invested in that game since August and I already got 7 5 stars and good weapons while spending next to nothing. Not only that, they have the option for 100% character/Weapon/standard banner, hell in the standard banner you get to choose the 5 star multiple times even. Only thing you really need to pay for is the spicy outfits.
RIP bro got introduced to gambling hell lmao. Well, WuWa gets a pass as one of the less predatory gachas but you should still be careful. Don't fall for predatory tactics like FOMO, and if you decide to spend please do so responsibly.
hes right about everything, but can you really blame ppl for thinking that when 30% of the video was talking about how good wuwa is and the rest was just talking down on genshin? i play all 3 hyv games and have been wanting to get into wuwa for a while now, i'm here because i wanna know what makes wuwa good and what separates it from the rest of the big gachas out there, but so far all i've been hearing is "wuwa is good because kuro is more generous!" like, is the generosity the only selling point of the game? what's so different about the wuwa experience that if I download it, i wont get easily bored and burnt out from playing 4 big gachas with similar systems at the same time?
@@kexruss that's your perspective, that is your fault that you think that he's talking down on genshin. he said all the negative points about genshin's system in the most direct, critical way, but oh guess what, genshin's dev dont give a shit about you. they want your money, not your happiness.
@@kexruss about downloading, you will have to see it for yourself. from my perspective, it doesn't feels like a burden but something that loads of the stress from studying all day. for you, your life is different. but do remember, everything he said about genshin, he wasn't talking about, he was just reporting the faults in the genshin, it was a comparison video from the start, to make people notice better things; someone has to layout the bad things, the negatives, and the author exactly did that. If you think that generosity is the only selling point of the game then your perspective falls short, you are unable to see the bigger picture. the reason the devs are generous, the dev listen to their players is the reason why you should play this game, you will criticize about something and the dev will actually make that change in the upcoming patches. unlike genshin, that will never happen.
@@kexrussofc he, I and any sane person will talk down about those lazy devs and their shitty "feedback" First, you get here to listen to him talk about the difference between the two games and get to conclusion that wuwa is just generous😂😂😂😂 .. if you said it in genshin youtuber comments I'd understand but don't be that delusional to talk like this when I could respond easily😁.. you played genshin for 4 years of locking characters' talent materials behind days, one floor of endgame, shitty rewards, grinding nightmare, stupid artifact system, exploration mechanics limited to nations and to make it worse here we are with characters with exploration advantage and the worst improving it behind cons, resin cap been 160 for 3 years but thank god they increased it to 200 with the same refresh time.... and there are more
@@dhwi and that's just your own opinion too about genshin devs. whether devs care or not is not a good way to judge a game, and is all dependent on the player's perspective anyway so what exactly are you trying to prove if not just trying to dismiss my opinion as "it's just your fault"?
I really appreciate how they incentivize players to do Illusive Realm in v1.4 . They give players chances to redeem additional materials just by clearing boss stages (no energy required). I still remember how painful ut was to run around the map and kill mobs for their materials. That is massive W❤❤❤. This is the step in the right direction. P.s: Day 1000 of asking for a ECHO TUNER DOMAIN
meanwhile limbus company does away with literally all of that, saves you your time, and gives you the character at full power from the get go with no smokes and mirrors... lmao
I'd be so happy if they introduced a random chance for mobs to drop Echo Tuners. Even if it was like 2% chance to drop 1 tuner, that's still 1-2 more rolls we could do per day. Because right now, once you're done with the new update story and events, for the next 3 weeks you just log in to do dailies which takes 15min TOPS. It would be nice, if I wanted to play for an hour and kill all echoes on the map, there was some sort of additional incentive for doing that.
im sure am dont mind about the random drop of echo tunes from the monster around the map with limited amount to get daily. About the 3 weeks of only login to do dailies that takes 15 minutes, i dont think it took that long. Tacet field now have the option to claim 2x times reward (Didn't check other material), which takes only about 3-4 minutes for me to completely wastes 240 waveplates (The time is based on your character). Usually, after completing the mission "use 180 waveplates" which giving you 60 point. You would have also completed other mission to take you to 100 (Sometimes you need to upgrade or tune echoes to get it to 100 based on my experiences). Kuro also give a pretty big limited event and character story every new patches drop. So, i wouldn't say you only do dailies for the next 3 week of banner (I know, i know. The event and story could be finished about 1-2 hour of gameplay). This is only my opinion about your statement. Feeling like a yappers writing this. But, i stand my point. In the end, kuro is cooking for everyone. Whether you're busy with your life or not, you can still enjoy the game without it being a burden.
Kuro has been improving the QoL in the game so much, soon they will run out of things to update and resort to improving the quality of the player's real lives instead.
The one thing I feel hoyo does better in 1 of their games (just 1, ZZZ) is how they dealt with the weekly boss material shortage. I wish Kuro would implement it the same way: you get to do 3 "free" runs on boss enemies per week and get their mats. If you want more boss mats, you pay for the runs with stamina. I came to the game a little bit late (during Changli's banner), and I'm still playing catch up with several characters. The thing stopping me the most, by far, is weekly boss mats because I have a lot of characters i need to work on. And that's just with 2 teams, trying to clear ToA (still didn't manage. Got close a couple of times though). There are several characters (4-star characters specifically) that I'd love to build and experiment with, but building them feels extremely punishing. I feel like I have no leeway at all in regards to who I invest in or not. I'm currently trying to build Sanhua and Jianxin and once they're done, I'm gonna be prefarming for Yinlin and Jinshi - leaving me no time / leeway at all to build Yangyang, Chixia, Mortefi, Aalto or Danjin - all characters that I'd like to build and play with just for fun
Nah, I don't know if you have played it, but HSR makes a lot of good decisions too. Kuro took many mechanics, inspiration, and even gameplay, like the Illusive Realm, from HSR and made their own, but some things are still better in HSR. I'm not listing everything but some are: materials to upgrade talents purchasable in the store; weekly endgame(Kuro is trying their own this version and will probably improve a lot, but, at this moment, HSR is still superior); portable synthesis; 4 star characters(including MC) are cheaper to level up than 5 stars; in my opinion, HSR has the better lore; 3 endgames(MOC, Apocalyptic Shadow and Pure Fiction), and they all reset from time to time. I don't feel like the holograms and the Illusive Realm are *real* endgames, ya know. I feel that the holograms are just a random challenges that they put almost every patch and that Illusive Realm is more like a big event that happens every update. I really think that they should put more endgames, cuz endgames are the best way to see the big chunks of damage that your char is dealing lol. Not to say that you always will have content resetting from time to time. I just don't know how HSR can make me feel like there is ALWAYS something to do, and I want WuWa to make me feel it as well.
@@Yae_is_just_better I don't even disagree with anything you said (except the lore bit, cause imo HSR lore is a dumpster fire), but how did me asking for weekly boss mats to be more accessible in WuWa inspired you to write a Star Rail love letter?
imma be real, they gave so much materials since 1.3 we're still 40+ days until next patch and i don't have anything to use my waveplates for now, i can already clear everything with my current built characters and i don't feel like building the likes of aalto, taoqi, yuanwu, chixia and even baizhi. and 4* weapons are mostly useless so i don't feel like upgrading any of them besides the ER/concerto series. and i still have like 50 crystal solvents in the bank too 💀 i would upgrade more of the skills levels for the characters i already use but then the problem becomes the weekly boss limit
Aalto is SO fun to play with, man, give him a try. He literally helps many people including me who are casuals beat Holograms easier because of his clone.😂😂😂
As someone who left genshin back in about version 2.7 because of the grind its so refreshing how casual wuwa is. It allows me to enjoy the game with my charactes at max potential with very little time invested especially when you have work and just general life to deal with
I quitted around 2.4. I joined because I thought it could be an engaging combat with reaction manipulations, but they decided to turn that into dummy fighting with multipliers.
Kuro did great job on Wuwa Controller support for mobile is so good, it doesn't need third party and interface is change for controller environment The game is 20x better using controller than normal touch screen
3:10 I agree that this change was good, but theres no need to shame ppl with extra time on their hands and how they intend to use it. Great video though! Still loving this game since day 1!
Honestly as much as I enjoy farming the overworld (especially since I really need those echoes lately) boy am I glad they implemented that, it helps so much. To be fair with Hoyo, in HSR the weapon mats are the same as the ones you use for character ascensions and there is no "day of the week" bullshit so... they learnt from their ways I guess... Even though I really enjoy farming in WuWa more. Like brooo the x2 claim drops (in forgery challenges for ex) update is huge. If you don't wanna spend too much time you really don't need to. Echoes are mostly a bonus and if you don't go crazy on traces (unlike me lmao I like having my traces at max level in this game) you can farm tacet fields or whatever when your traces are done and you have enough money. I just hope they fix the money problem in the future, but honestly I'm glad that they at least implemented a fix for grinding because oh boy is it annoying to grind the Sea Of Flames area each day to get whisperin cores (it's efficient and kinda quick still annoying). At least this income can fix the enemy mats problem. And yes enemy mats and weekly mats are my main struggle atm bear with me
@RiverSong-px9yg it does help but it's really not enough i was struggling with almost no resources enemy mat wise when leveling my traces even though i was farming the mats the daily farm did help a lot in that regard but keeping it up is annoying 😅
8:10 Yep, exactly that's why they add so many useless features in genshin, because they don't play their own game. In wuwa so many QoL got added that the devs could only know by playing it daily because people weren't asking for that.
The ONLY thing I am (starting) to hate about WuWa is that every mf girl is inlove with the mc.. Ion know if I’m the only one, although I want to see the story but at some point it urges me to skip it, like camellya (mf confessed her love 3 times😭), yangyang, shorekeeper, jinshi, changli and etc.. it would be so much more interesting if one at least hated the mc When people were complaining to why every character hates the mc in the cbt version, they didn’t mean that they want every character to love the mc😭 it seems Kuro misunderstood, balancing in the middle is always the best
I want a video that is titled as "WuWa ruined Gacha as a Whole" after the GOTY concludes. You seriously make me laugh everytime I see your thumbnails along with MorePegasus
I'm loving and wanting to play WuWa more than ever since v1.3 when they gave us events to boost characters and help with the grind. Now with v1.4 and grinding from the dungeons, we can get 2x the rewards with the use of 2x the power which really helps keep the time of grinding down which is so awesome compared to Genshin system of having to run the same dungeon multiple times, every single time. Keep up the great content!
Deadass when Mualani first launched I got her on the last 5 days of her banner, I had no idea what her talents was nor the mats. I couldn’t even use her till TWO WEEKS later… because everything is so time gated. Now for WuWa i already had mats pre farmed for Camellya just enough to 70 her day one and level her talents, and with the Illusive Realm coming back it makes grinding so much easier! Literally why I’ll always prefer WuWa in every aspect.
Fr tho, the farming is so easy and the joy of getting another built character is so good! I started building Danjin 2 days ago and she's already level 90, no worry about waiting 3 days to get flowers or waiting for a day of the week to farm books! (but funny enough, as a non-english speaker, Genshin taught me the difference of wednesday and thursday because I always mixed up the two 🥲)
u worded everything so perfectly. i played genshin and honkai for years, constantly frustrated with the amount of time and money they demanded from me. wuthering waves is the only gacha game i currently play.
The weekly claims is crazy. Normally I would have to run around the map in wuthering for hours to farm rings for a couple of upgrades. After the 12 claims last week in the new event. I ended up with a weeks worth of ring upgrade mats for FREE and NO TIME spent. The 12 weekly claims is the most insane qol update in the game as a whole.
My issue with the illusive realm weekly refresh is 12 bosses a week might get old. I hope the later stages have more bosses to speed up how many runs you need to do for the rewards. Or maybe they could do a boss rush illusive realm?
I think that is the reason why Kuro did not add any Astrite rewards to the IR weeklies. There's nothing in those rewards that you can't get from OW farming, so it's not meant to be a big loss to the player if they don't complete it, much like how few players fully clear the map or pick every material they can. Removing astrites/waveplate-gated items from the rewards is a great way of limiting fomo if players don't want to clear the IR repeatedly each week.
Thinking back how I grinds those materials back in Genshin, making me extremely grateful to KURO respecting our times. I'm having so much in 1.4 because of the QOL improvements. Thank you KURO 🙏🙏
Damn, I had no idea they had added those rewards to the Illusive Realm. I cleared it once at the beginning and loved it, but then never got around to it again because I only have a few minutes to play each day and I have to farm so much other stuff. I have even been considering quitting because I don't have any time or inclination to run around the map farming all those rings etc from mobs, and so I can't finish strengthening my characters. Now I will just play Illusive Realm, thanks dude :) I really wish Genshin would do away with the time limited domains. I quit last year but still go back occasionally when I hear about a cool new character I might like, only to remember how tedious the levelling up process is once I get the character (not to mention the endless artifact grind), and then I end up dropping it again before I even get to use them properly. I've now used up the last of my primogems so it's doubtful I'll go back again.
I was so bored of Wuthering Waves at the very beginning, playing it in release, because it felt like another Genshin grindy game. Until I started playing it again last month, and I'm caught up on the story and having way too much fun playing it now. I'm in love with Kuro games and how they handle everything compared to other gacha games and I love them for that.
i cant put in words how much i enjoy playing wuwa in comparison to the experience i had playing genshin, i played genshin for long 2 years, from the launch to end of inazuma, them i realized that the problens that tha player base complained about would never be solved ever, so i quit, and came back some times just to see how the game was, i had played tof for a long time too, another anime gacha that desapointed me along the time, and finally wuwa launched, and man, what a dream, the game is almost perfect, i just hope for the devs to not lost the track, for now im very sitisfied with the game
free reminder that the 4* cat sword that comes fully limit breaked for free with the event has a INSANELY HIGH damage. basically better than ALL other 4* and than most 5* aswell
The biggest reason genshin wont change is funny enough because of their playerbase. They defend all of the trash mechanics and if someone calls out prehistoric methods of farming, they get bombarded with genshin shills who think the game is perfect and doesnt need to change.
Anyone else remember how domain drops were RANDOM on Sundays back in 1.X? I don't remember when it was changed to let you choose which version you wanted to farm, but I know it was no sooner than 1.2. Why HoYo can't just, you know, expand on that is beyond me. The opportunity cost is already astronomical since no more than 3 characters use the same mats, so why add/keep an extraneous hurdle like gating certain upgrades behind certain days? Not having to micromanage when I do what activity in WuWa is a refreshing change. I mean, it's still there because of waveplates, but if I'm wanting to upgrade a character or weapon, I can just go do the thing instead of looking up whether or not I'm on the right day of the week.
I love Wuwa developers and ZZZ one's, ZZZ give 'infinite' boss weakly by using your daily batteries, wuwa add easier and funnier farming of some bassic materials. Both seem to listen their player base and really like them playing their game (rather than being a walking wallet). I hope both keep up with the good work, so far I can really say neither of them had an L patch, just questionable balance patches (ZZZ with some wierd rebalance and character implementation and Kuro with some endgame events that are imposible with some trial characters they give to new players like me, but those are minor complains). I really look forward how the game will be in a few years with more content, stories and bosses. I hope I can keep supporting them even if I just can recommend them to my friends.
I literally only log in to the game when Elusive Realm updates, and play it until I collect the rewards. It's just fun! So with the new changes, looks like I'm gonna play the game more simply because it's beneficial and enjoyable!
Genshin's a game that's like a nice place to have a vacation once in awhile. The story's decent and randomly finding little nooks and crannies is fine until you run out of them. I think it speaks pretty well of the game that there are such a huge amount of people who have literally nothing left to do but to farm up characters. It's just sad that this group of hardcore players remain uncatered to for such a long time. And it's not like the hardcore crowd aren't also the ones most likely to spend money on pulls either. Makes their decisions kinda hard to defend, really.
honestly, the decisions (or lack thereof) that the genshin devs make are genuinely mindboggling to me a lot of the time. Like WHO reasonably speaking is returning to play genshin specifically because the talent or weapon upgrade materials they need are actually available to them? it's the most nonsensical system I've ever seen, i truly believe it accomplishes NOTHING while only being an inconvenience to their players. I also think it's worth mentioning how much better the credit system is in wuwa. I've been flat broke in genshin for quite literally a year now because I want to upgrade and play so many different characters, but even if I do my homework and manage to get the materials I need, mora is a literal prison that timegates me from doing anything I actually want to do. Meanwhile, I've spent all of 1.4 building both my sanhua and camellya (without particularly preparing in terms of credits) and it was only now that I realised that level 10ing their talents costs 100k (compared to the absolutely batshit insane 700k genshin does). There are so many more systems in wuwa that allow you to CHOOSE where to put your resources (weapon xp, character xp, echo xp, credits etc) so that you can actually realistically manage your resources and upgrade your characters to a level you're satisfied with. As someone who really enjoys minmaxxing as many characters as possible, talents and weapons should NEVER be as much of an investment to level as they are in genshin. Artifacts are a great system with real longevity and they're more than good enough at giving players a reason to return to the game in search for that perfect roll, but the fact that they're also gated by the insane amount of mora it takes to upgrade them is just such a hindrance. By contrast, in wuwa upgrading echoes is actually dirt cheap in terms of credits, so focusing entirely on farming tacet fields is so much more rewarding and convenient than trying to farm a domain in genshin, only to realise you cant actually upgrade any pieces anyway because you dont have the mora for it.
i totally appreciate they add these because 1st not everyone has 24/7 time to play. there are also players who is working and doing real life stuff. the reduction of time after the double reward or limited time events that gives you enaugh materials to almost max a char is sooo good. tbh i would rather spend more time playing these events and grinding astrite than grinding my a** off in that takes like 50 years with the baddest build. i feel like wuwa did everyting a gacha game should do tbh. their game is tooo balanced and they are fokussing more on the audience than money itself like hoyo ist literally making everything for money only. soo many people dont know that hoyo´s games can be literally be counted as a gambling game. look at the people who waste sooo much money it just too expensive to play genshin imo, btw rip to these players who spends like half milion in genshin. they could have been rich if they would purchase every shit after genshin drops a new char. just grind and get
I played genshin since the day it launched until the first day miko's banner came out, and during that whole time I've only been able to fully upgrade two characters and those being hu tao and Mona, full skills and levels and weapons and whatnot. So far with wuwa I've been able to fully upgrade 9 fucking characters with everything, weapons, skills, levels, everything which makes me excited to level up and upgrade others too, it's actually so fun to build a character in wuwa unlike many many other games
Honestly im in love with the devs like tehy be giving us free materials like its nothing they gave us 3 weeks worth of grinding in just 12 rewards like nah
Genshin sIaves were like: Kuro only doing this to get a community and after first months they'll stop doing it and you'll regret going with them Turns out they're still listening to us, still catering to their playerbase. They got this image of being a good company that hears everyone and put it as their top priority, of course they want money by doing that, but it's definitely not their 1st priority, if it was, they would do some big scams like Hoyoverse does with weapon banner not guaranteed and double weapon, more pity for character, simple exploration mechanics locked by limited 5 star characters, and many other things
Bro I was so angry when I saw the thumbnail because I didn't see the title (notifactions) I was gonna get mad. Then I saw the title and I was like "phew"
I started Gachas 1 year ago and my entry game was Honkai Star Rail. Learning how Gachas work with the resource management took a bit but it's really easy. Later on I started to play Wuthering at release and ZZZ and release as well. To this day I still play all 3 and I wouldn't stop at all. I personally find that spending at least on the "Battle Pass" makes a bit difference early on how easier it can be with resources.
Spent almost 10 minutes hyping one specific addition to a game while shitting on a game that nearly everyone knows is trash and has known for a long time now. Amazing. 10/10 click bait though ya got me.
the greatest system of wuwa is if you just know what weapon type character uses you instantly know what mats that character needs since character uses same talent mats as weapon ascension mats so the only heads up for pre farming you need is the weekly boss mats
It will be the last gacha game I play, and the 2nd one that I play. I really don't enjoy any other system, but if the devs are here for a few years like how I am young for a few years, then I appreciate the hell out of there care thus far.
Genshin is the complete opposite of a "casual" game or a kid's game in comparison to WuWa, imagine all the restrictions and limitations, imagine needing to play certain days to just target specific materials, imagine the lack of QoL for 4 years now.
you forgot that a successful run of illusive will max your daily mission. So someone on a workday can play just illusive to get their daily grind done. Also WuWa is one of the few games where pregrind has not really crossed my mind. If I want materials, I can get those whenever.
The funny thing is genshin seperated the talent materials and whatnot to different days to extend peoples playtime, but it did the opposite for me where id just not log on at all for days or even weeks and instead farm the games i could build characters at anytime.
Camellya was my FIRST ever character I make fully 1 minut after getting her. I've been playing Genshin for over 3 years and I've never had the desire or motivation to save up for a character in advance, not even talking about saving primo for desire character. Wuwa made me better
They should add a casual mode where hints are always shown before the monster attacks, similar to ZZZ-a perfect game for someone like me who doesn’t want to sweat in a gacha game. That’s the only thing this game is missing. As a mobile player without a high-spec device to play smoothly at 60 FPS for long periods, it’s tough. It’s not a skill issue; it’s more of a money issue😭
I remember in Genshin To farm everything to max 1 character, it takes several weeks for just that one character, but in wuwa I hardly do much at all, most of the time I just play daily and can max1. Characters in day-1. Genshin isn't just a game, it's a workplace where you waste time and money.
I was playing a lot recently, a notice came up on my screen saying I had been playing for three hours, please take a break. I needed to stretch my legs Kuro thanks for the reminder
A lot of players were scared that Kuro would tone down the generosity after 1.3's Parade of Stars
But it seems like they just took all of those rewards and spread them out across the Illusive Realm
Enjoying this game has never been easier
bro you forgot that the game makes a reminder that you need to take a break after 3hrs of grinding
@yukishiroo4724 It's nice, though I wish that you could turn it off at times especially when you are in a cutscene.
I already got my pulls back from camie's banner
WuWa needs to win the Game Awards. I doubt it will bc the game is more niche than we realize... but I want them to get more recognition bc they deserve it, so my fingers are crossed. They are likely saving PS5 release for the Game Awards
Sadly, pokemon tcg pocket is winning easily.
@RobT302 Yeah, my best friend plays it religiously. I was thinking this would likely be the case
I wish, but pretty sure ZZZ already won since leaks show they're already giving out a free S rank character for winning.
Pokemon tcg is mid but because its come from pokemon ip and nintendo child, its gonna win
Who’s voting wuwa for mobile game of the year, certainly me!
Imagine the rewards we would get🤤
Forget it man. It’s going to be monopoly again
@@exidon2604 knowing Kuro its prob gonna be big (another free 5 star plus 50 free pulls maybe)
@@exidon2604 personally I don’t care about rewards I just care about what they will do to make the game better such as making a permanent version of illusive
How do I vote??
That’s why I hate pulling for characters and weapons because the farming for ascension materials is so restricted and needing to wait certain days to level characters up
I think… maybe I guess… because of money?
@@osaiosai5 no this just a lame excuse that people make just to feel better , a lot of companies think about a lot of things aside from money. It's ppl who aren't educating enough about the topic who talk about only money meanwhile the companies have more things to worry about. The only thing that is far from assumptions is that the genshin's devs aren't good enough
They're simply lazy
Nah when i first saw that you can claim rewards up to 12 times not using any resin my jaw dropped
And it resets weekly I think so thats materials ascension materials for life 😂
@@ChrisDerezaooof never deeped it like that, your so right 😅
@@ChrisDereza I DIDNT KNOW IT WAS WEEKLY RESET, ITHOUGHT IT WAS JUST THAT SO I WAITED FO A HARDER LEVEL, MISS THE ENTIRE WEEK CAUSE OF IT
@@vincentguccio9187 don't worry it's just 12 per week
Good thing IS that u can use ALL characters tô clear illusive realmente even If u dont have them leveled
When the Genshin Dev mentioned the anixety thing due to end games, that is when i realised that the genshin dev not only doesn't care but they can straight up lie through their teeths. They don't mind adding new FOMO elements but somehow worried about anxiety due to harder content.😂
When Da wei cried, i knew those were crocodile tears and their dev doesn't disappoint..
Unlike Genshin where it feels like I'm playing 25% of a character.
the da wei is so ugly crying.
Genshin devs full of Bee Ess
Kuro Devs = User Experience wise. This is why I trust them more than any other devs. 💪👏
"Domain not available yet" *gives middle finger and plays Star Rail and Wuthering*
You can literally turn your resin into condensed in the day that domain isn't available, save them and then use it when it is available
Yeah, idk why Genshin's dev team is so stubborn in keeping that old system, even HSR and ZZZ don't have that.
@@GigachadGggsskjyeah sure buddy 5 limited condensed resin is very helpful for takent that , that you need to craft and farm too 😂

@@o0wellington0o I think running shouldn't be locked by stamina since it won't make the company bankrupt.
Wuthering waves is the only gacha game I spend money on to support the devs.
Because they deserve it more for their dedication to the playerbase.
i whaled like 50 bucks and PGR and i dont even play the game anymore, sometimes i regret but then i see how much they deserve it and i forget the regret and instead i am happy.
Same. I always buy the Pass, even though I don’t need to, simply to support them.
Solon my goat did an amazing job with wuwa especially the latest patches , I'm so proud that the game I'm supporting deserves the support and is actually a good product for consumers 🗿🔥

that illusive realm rewards are so good i dont have to waste my time farming overworld since im limited on time and i get to enjoy the mode weekly 🥰
The best qol in the game arguably. We don't have to spend countless hours running across the map anymore. I'm beyond happy with the weekly claims now
Lingyang the ultimate sacrificing lamb of wuwa.
5:05 Another issue about this is the fact that, if the character is new, you have absolutely no idea about what materials said character uses. So what do you have to do to know that beforehand? That's right. *watching leaks.*
With Kuro games, on the other hand, with these quality of life changes and telling already to the players what the characters ask and needs, by the time said character arrives you should have enough materials while also enjoying the game.
Or sometimes, events actually give you ascencion mats so that you can max your char on the onset like during Jinshi/Changli patch.
Wtf you talking about do you even Play genshin the game literally officially tells you what mats characters need before their release
@@HuH22132 *Fucking where?*
Saying that wuwa 1.0 is trash ( no bad ) is crazy , have you even played the first release of genshin, it's unplayable. Instead of saying it's trash, should have gone for " it's decent
honestly, kuro devs are based and i have never played a gacha game in my life and this is my first one, and im hooked to it
try Snowbreak as well, they respect your time and give you a LOT to do and give you free event weapons, best gear for said 5 star and each event is good enough to get the limited 5 star for that patch for free.
It's funny how the hoyobots keep calling you a glazer but they have no response to the legitimate points you bring up every time
hes right about everything, but can you really blame ppl for thinking that when 30% of the video was talking about how good wuwa is and the rest was just talking down on genshin?
i play all 3 hyv games and have been wanting to get into wuwa for a while now, i'm here because i wanna know what makes wuwa good and what separates it from the rest of the big gachas out there, but so far all i've been hearing is "wuwa is good because kuro is more generous!" like, is the generosity the only selling point of the game?
what's so different about the wuwa experience that if I download it, i wont get easily bored and burnt out from playing 4 big gachas with similar systems at the same time?

I really appreciate how they incentivize players to do Illusive Realm in v1.4 . They give players chances to redeem additional materials just by clearing boss stages (no energy required).
Kuro has been improving the QoL in the game so much, soon they will run out of things to update and resort to improving the quality of the player's real lives instead.
well if you play for 3 hours, they will tell you to go out and touch some grass.
@@Yae_is_just_better I don't even disagree with anything you said (except the lore bit, cause imo HSR lore is a dumpster fire), but how did me asking for weekly boss mats to be more accessible in WuWa inspired you to write a Star Rail love letter?
imma be real, they gave so much materials since 1.3 we're still 40+ days until next patch and i don't have anything to use my waveplates for now, i can already clear everything with my current built characters and i don't feel like building the likes of aalto, taoqi, yuanwu, chixia and even baizhi. and 4* weapons are mostly useless so i don't feel like upgrading any of them besides the ER/concerto series. and i still have like 50 crystal solvents in the bank too 💀
i would upgrade more of the skills levels for the characters i already use but then the problem becomes the weekly boss limit
Make yourself rich with the training simulation 😂 that's what I do when I don't have anything left to grind. And the reward is quite generous
Aalto is SO fun to play with, man, give him a try. He literally helps many people including me who are casuals beat Holograms easier because of his clone.😂😂😂
Also, I showcase him too on my channel if you'd like to watch em.
Hoyo wants you to play their game 24/7 , And Kuro wants you to play their game whenever you want..
At this point, this channel is here just to roast how bad Hoyo is 🤣
Kuro did great job on Wuwa
Controller support for mobile is so good, it doesn't need third party and interface is change for controller environment
The game is 20x better using controller than normal touch screen
3:10 I agree that this change was good, but theres no need to shame ppl with extra time on their hands and how they intend to use it. Great video though! Still loving this game since day 1!
i think its fine, just dont bring up the comments i say
And yes enemy mats and weekly mats are my main struggle atm bear with me
You can counter by prefarming all weapon domains to drop mob materials
@RiverSong-px9yg it does help but it's really not enough i was struggling with almost no resources enemy mat wise when leveling my traces even though i was farming the mats
the daily farm did help a lot in that regard but keeping it up is annoying 😅
For me I want them to implement an auto farm QoL in simulation training...like they did in PGR 😂
Ion know if I’m the only one, although I want to see the story but at some point it urges me to skip it, like camellya (mf confessed her love 3 times😭), yangyang, shorekeeper, jinshi, changli and etc.. it would be so much more interesting if one at least hated the mc
When people were complaining to why every character hates the mc in the cbt version, they didn’t mean that they want every character to love the mc😭 it seems Kuro misunderstood, balancing in the middle is always the best
Right now im just waiting for the 21st so i can keep playing ore somnoire :D

I'm loving and wanting to play WuWa more than ever since v1.3 when they gave us events to boost characters and help with the grind. Now with v1.4 and grinding from the dungeons, we can get 2x the rewards with the use of 2x the power which really helps keep the time of grinding down which is so awesome compared to Genshin system of having to run the same dungeon multiple times, every single time. Keep up the great content!
Wuthering also has a farming mechanic which you can pinpoint where the materials for every characters skill tree.. Its a QOL for an open world game.
leveling character and maxing them out is a breeze in Wuwa. the world is small yet rich with content and surprises.
Ayooo first! Thanks always for the content Saint!
I love kuro for making wuthering and pgr easy and rewarding to grind for. It still takes time, but at least my time feels rewarded.
Fr tho, the farming is so easy and the joy of getting another built character is so good! I started building Danjin 2 days ago and she's already level 90, no worry about waiting 3 days to get flowers or waiting for a day of the week to farm books!
(but funny enough, as a non-english speaker, Genshin taught me the difference of wednesday and thursday because I always mixed up the two 🥲)
Lol
u worded everything so perfectly. i played genshin and honkai for years, constantly frustrated with the amount of time and money they demanded from me. wuthering waves is the only gacha game i currently play.
saintontas ruined my sub feed
The weekly claims is crazy. Normally I would have to run around the map in wuthering for hours to farm rings for a couple of upgrades. After the 12 claims last week in the new event. I ended up with a weeks worth of ring upgrade mats for FREE and NO TIME spent. The 12 weekly claims is the most insane qol update in the game as a whole.
i already love illusive realm and now it's even better, yippie!!
I am later joiner to WUWA because of gacha burnout in general but damn is it actually good, and gameplay is very enjoyable.
Fun to see the Genshin white knights cope in the bottom of the comments xD
I knew he'll use this name one day lmao 😂😂😂 but yeah wuwa really did a good job when it comes to reducing the grind for more fun ❤🔥
I love wuwa for the gameplay and farming, i love star rail for the story and characters!
BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURN!!! you're awesome dude! I'm grateful that you exist!
Now I will just play Illusive Realm, thanks dude :)
I really wish Genshin would do away with the time limited domains.
That is why I quit Genshin Impact. The game is playing you, not you playing the game.
i swear to god, wuthering waves is like your parent's favorite youngest child, they treat it much better including us
Concordo completamente gabriel, tenho o mesmo nome que voce, entao acho que compartilhamos o mesmo neuronio tambem 😂
So with the new changes, looks like I'm gonna play the game more simply because it's beneficial and enjoyable!
my favourite change this patch 😂 it was so difficult getting those materials, illusive realm is much more enjoyable now
Genshin's a game that's like a nice place to have a vacation once in awhile.
Not going to lie, I agree with you. But this level of glazing on Kuro games is something that needs to be studied.
They’re going in a PGR route in terms of rewards and QOL this is why I’m playing this game loyally.
honestly, the decisions (or lack thereof) that the genshin devs make are genuinely mindboggling to me a lot of the time.
By contrast, in wuwa upgrading echoes is actually dirt cheap in terms of credits, so focusing entirely on farming tacet fields is so much more rewarding and convenient than trying to farm a domain in genshin, only to realise you cant actually upgrade any pieces anyway because you dont have the mora for it.
i totally appreciate they add these because 1st not everyone has 24/7 time to play. there are also players who is working and doing real life stuff. the reduction of time after the double reward or limited time events that gives you enaugh materials to almost max a char is sooo good. tbh i would rather spend more time playing these events and grinding astrite than grinding my a** off in that takes like 50 years with the baddest build. i feel like wuwa did everyting a gacha game should do tbh. their game is tooo balanced and they are fokussing more on the audience than money itself like hoyo ist literally making everything for money only. soo many people dont know that hoyo´s games can be literally be counted as a gambling game. look at the people who waste sooo much money it just too expensive to play genshin imo, btw rip to these players who spends like half milion in genshin. they could have been rich if they would purchase every shit after genshin drops a new char. just grind and get
WUWA THE GOAT
Came back from 1.2
Games amazing 💪😍🔥💕
I played genshin since the day it launched until the first day miko's banner came out, and during that whole time I've only been able to fully upgrade two characters and those being hu tao and Mona, full skills and levels and weapons and whatnot.
So far with wuwa I've been able to fully upgrade 9 fucking characters with everything, weapons, skills, levels, everything which makes me excited to level up and upgrade others too, it's actually so fun to build a character in wuwa unlike many many other games
yay something to watch while i eat
Honestly im in love with the devs like tehy be giving us free materials like its nothing they gave us 3 weeks worth of grinding in just 12 rewards like nah
Genshin sIaves were like: Kuro only doing this to get a community and after first months they'll stop doing it and you'll regret going with them
Turns out they're still listening to us, still catering to their playerbase.
There's just too many games to play so devs being considerate is always appreciated 👍
Why did bro casually sacrifice lingyang at the beginning of the video
Spent almost 10 minutes hyping one specific addition to a game while shitting on a game that nearly everyone knows is trash and has known for a long time now. Amazing. 10/10 click bait though ya got me.
TDLR: Kuro can do no wrong while Hoyo only does wrong.
Kurobots man, making mountains out of molehills since 2024.
this is the best channel for kurobots like me
the greatest system of wuwa is if you just know what weapon type character uses you instantly know what mats that character needs since character uses same talent mats as weapon ascension mats so the only heads up for pre farming you need is the weekly boss mats
They promise, they deliver!
Solon lee : everyone the player want to have a better experience what we going to do ?
Devs : do as they wish !
Solon lee : exactly !
Wuwa made me better
kuro is insanely kind with its community
Imagine Kuro doing all these updates without crying.
It’s not a skill issue; it’s more of a money issue😭
yea your speaking facts. ill sub.
"When the devs actually play their game" sheesh thats a slap. I love wuwa 🥰
