On a cold November evening back in 2003, myself, my wife and some former Gothy friends/acquaintances from Bristol did some filming for a HTV Series called 'Magick Eve' (very little on the Internet about it now). The series was about this 'couple' (former actress Emma Jane Portch) who would travel about and find unique and weird things. This particular episode was about the Goth subculture and a group of Goths (about 15 of us) who had somehow managed to get into Woodchester Mansion and were listing to a live Gothic band! (Cauda Pavonis). Outside there was a full moon and there were owls and bats outside and we were there from about 6pm till past midnight. It was a lot of fun, perfect horror and Gothic aesthetics. Most of the filming was done in the Hall (with a nice fire going) as well as the Kitchen and the corridor. We managed to have a walk around the house but I don't believe anyone experienced anything paranormal. This was around the start of the peak of the time that the house was used for paranormal shows like Most Haunted (which I always though was a load of crap). Can't believe its 20 years ago now, other then my wife, we are not in contact with anyone associated with that night but we been back to Woodchester mansion several times since. It was a lot of fun to do something like this in your 20's but doubt we will ever do anything like this again. Happy memories.
Well, I got her name now, Michaela Strachan! This show DOESN"T try to replicate the ghosts like Most Haunted does, The show, its presenter and guests simply explain the background story to the hauntings, and if something paranormal might be seen, that's a bonus. And that's what puts this show streets ahead of Most Haunted.
Great to have a new edition of this series to watch. I didn't quite get the presenter's name but she's far and away better than Yvette Fielding with all her screaming and histrionics in "Most Haunted", which has recently been outed as FAKE!

Right around 13:52 a dark figure in the house 🏠 appears from the right side and walks left to just above his shoulder. It then moves it's head like it's trying to get a better view of what these two are doing. Tv crew? Ghost? Lost pizza 🍕 delivery boy 👦? Thoughts?

I too have seen so many strange occurrences with my own eyes in this building. It’s a very odd place and the activity there is never the same. I was very sceptical when I first started visiting Woodchester back in 2004, but in the words of Peter Venkman in Ghostbusters ‘I’ve seen s**t that’ll turn you white!’
That "element" in the basement is not element for sure since it spreads darkness / black and appears in a form of "Gollum"... That is something very negative energy / being there since it also feeds with fear. I highly would suggest on cleansing the basement.
i will never understand this how on earth can this be haunted when no one has ever lived there, oh it's because it looks creepy, i get it now so yeah it must be haunted! (rubbing deep furrows in my forehead in sheer frustration) it's just another example of someone having too much damn money while the people around them starved to death! knock it down that's what i say!
irons punk lol active with what the likes of you "CEMETERY STALKERS" who sit there next to headstones all night with tape recorders mistaking bugs for orbs, if i ever caught anyone near my mothers grave trying to get a "response" i would snap their fucking neck in an instant! show some respect you vile ghouls!

irons punk on the contrary mr paranormal expert (not really such a thing but anyhow) i have encountered enough in my life to make a good and sober judgement on areas considered to be "paranormal" from poltergiests to orbs and from audible disembodied voices to evp's, my comment on the whole was an attack at these kind of people in general with their "ghost boxes" and other "paranormal detectors" who trawl around cemeteries in the small hours (don philips and his cronies) trying to make contact with the dead! and by the sound of your voice you also fit the bill mr irons punk what ever your fucking name is so piss off to morose death land to find some spirits you vile fucking ghoul!
