Devizes, a wonderland if you like old buildings. But a waste of bandwidth to wander round those cellars & undercrofts just looking for ghosts. Archaeologists or historians might have explained what the places were originally built for. Phil Harding would be perfect - he's a local.
awww, cmon, if I owned a "haunted" pub, and had to send my "staff" to a dark cellar, no way would I expect my "staff" to go down with "torches" for god,s sake,! I would make sure that they would feel fine with a "main switch" that lit it up like a christmas tree so they could do their work, no wonder they are "spooked"....
starting at 12:48 until the shot changes, look in the upper left of the screen, I think it's a mirror and you will see a man walk by at normal speed but wait just a second and a figure that I'm unsure about comes from the left and very quickly almost unnatural back again in that mirror. Maybe it is because of editing it moves like that, You look and make up your mind.
you know old chap i think you are right. Put it on at 12.47 then press . (dot) to make it go forward a frame or , (comma) to make it goo back. If you do its quite distinct.

Love the landlady's idea of guests writing down and drawing their experiences. Very interesting.
At least she doesn't have Chris Packham talking all over her as usual...
I could do with a bit of bed shaking in Devizes 🤣. Would a highwayman if that period know how to flush a toilet??
