She was my favourite. I got her for my 7th or 8th birthday. I remember the moment my mum handed the box to me
OMG NO WAY!! This was one of my FAV dolls from the 90s!! I talked my sister into asking for it for Xmas and then stole it from her (haha)...I remember trying on her necklace on my finger (since it doubles as a ring) and LOVED her shoes so much. And loooved her pink ruffled outfit, def a diva. She's still sitting pretty in my sister's doll cabinet and brings back so many fun memories. Yay, loved seeing this! xoxo

The basic sparkle beach barbie doll was my childhood favourite- that and the Tyco Little Mermaid Ariel with removeable fin- she was skipper sized! Awwww Memoooories!!!

I found her in the beat up box at a yard sale. With accessories got her for four bucks. She had to be washed and has a little tiny mouse bite on her ankle but I love her

I have her head lol. I got her for Christmas from Santa himself ! I wrote Santa a letter and he came and delivered to my house :) [canada post charity for kids]. I'll never forget this doll ! Have just her head and her skirt now lol

Just discovered you today and I love your thorough presentation and great attitude. I love finding things my 5 year old and I can enjoy together. Now she knows more about this Barbie outfit, which my sister who has the doll gave us, and is full of new ideas of how to style it. "Do something nice for the world. It needs it." I'm going to try to keep that in mind this week as the insanity tries to take over :) Let's all "be the change" this week!
What puzzles me is that Sparkle Surprise Ken uses a different head mold to the Ken pictured on the back. (I think the one on the back is better looking)
Maybe that was the "surprise"...a different guy showed up to the date?

I don't know any of the 90s Barbies as I was a teenager in the 90s and just getting into nightclubs and dating etc and took some time off dolls - I got back into them in my late 20s. I like this doll but I think one eye sparkles more than the other. Probably just wear and tear as she's an old girl now. lol
I had the Starry Eyed bride dolls and flower princess dolls by Creata when I was little I think Mattel may have stole the diamond eyes from Creata dolls.
