After I bought this wrecked #bmw #m3 #v8 from copra salvage auctions I was surprised by the rarity of the specification on this car. So I decided to take it that bit further than back to factory repair as I can feel this is a car I will want to keep.

I dont know hoe it took me so long to find your channel. This is an insanely professional conversion. I know there is going to be haters for the modern steerwing wheel and displays but this is how i would like to have it. Enjoying the classic design with modern features.

My major gripe with Copart is the extra damage they add and take no responsibility for and that can be forklift damage that was not on the photo's that is there later. they should not be allowed to get away with that and it shows just how bad their staff can be.
Salvage Rebuilds UK recently invoiced Copart for additional damage on a Fiat 500 - will be interested to see how they get on.
@@mrjones9915 I think if they manage to get any payment it will be with a non disclosure because iy would cost them millions world wide.
@@mclarenjohnf1 you may well be right. I’d never buy from them as I’ve seen too much contempt for the paying customers in many such salvage videos.
Lifting a car with a forklift truck is so wrong, the pipes and fuel pumps etc under the plastic covers these days before floor damage it can cause is why they should not!!!! do that.
@@mrjones9915 I agree but they seem to be the only place to get insurance write off cars, I used to see many brakers had cheap deals not any more so many have gone bust.
Impatience has cost me dearly in life but watching these guys fix stuff up (and other channels like Tasty Classics and Vice Grip Garage) it's educated me to take a bit more time snd care with my future cars. I'm buying one more car in life which will be an old Ford Capri. I'm very shocked and unimpressed with the NEW Ford Capri...what an insult to the whole legend!
Pro tip for draining radiators and water pumps without making a giant wet mess is to buy a small kiddie pool and use it instead of a regular drain pan. Some of the newer coolants have chemicals that can weaken and corrode concrete. Nice car bro!

You are lucky that your workshop is only just off an accessible road. My workshop is at the end of a 100m narrow tree covered dog-legged driveway off of a high speed country lane with no good place to stop. It's a lot of dodging idiots and pushing wrecked vehicles, usually on skates with small wheel that like going sideways.
The things u say about these cars in the begining is so spot on and yes thats why i drive and love my E93 so much i will never sell it :D And yes these made me like and subscribe to your channel right away also. Good job 👍😁

You want to use less candy then paint it over black trust me it works.have pics of what it like over black you get a deep red.
Yes.. In order to use less product, It's common knowledge wheaver a solid paint or metalic paint to base it up with a primer (light or dark) A shade closest to the colour intended to be, thus not only saving on materials but time an effort. However, this method of practice isn't to be used in conjunction when using 'Candy' see... Candy is more like a dye or a 'Tint' rather than a paint in which under certain lighting conditions such as bright light allowed to shine right through the Candy dye to the shiny semi-reflective base and deflecting some light back through the Candy.. It's this that gives Candy its desired effect.

The e92 m3 doesn't need a supercharger. It's fast enough. Port the heads ,schrick camshafts a tune and that's it

Why would anyone settle and purchase a 2s only brushless system. The fact that it only goes 30mph is laughable. That was a 70mph rc when is first 2.0 came out with the gt40 body. I personally own the one of the first 4tec with the sidesaddle battery. I kept it brushed Wana race.

I bought my manual 58 plate E92 M3 for £21k with 22k and it was the best car i have ever owned. The 2.5 exhaust mod is a must but manual is the way to go. LED headlights and carbon grille are easy but game changing mods.
