They did that experiment with a well known baseball player where he took off his cap and wore glasses and no one really recognized him at all until he started giving them more hints and taking off the glasses and then put back on his cap. It was pretty cool to see!
tbh Antony looks different beyond the glasses. He lacks the muscle suit, his hair is darker and styled differently, and his mannerisms are quite different.
She seems so nice. It's always great fun to see very sweet people step into these horrible monstrous characters. But villains need to disgust us, to be sick and offensive, and somebody has to suit up for that. Hopefully without getting traumatized!

I thought the most shocking scenes were: *SPOILER ALERT* 1. When the CIA agent's head exploded. 2. When Homelander slapped the shit of out that blind hero's ears 3. When Stormfront called the brother a "Yellow Bastard" and killed him. 4. The reveal of the Headpopper.
This season was full of ups and downs and there is so many shocking moments that you can mention. So much entertaining moments in it which you cannot easily forget, I think that's why people loves this show.

I think it's also the fact that Antony Starr, talking normally, has a New Zealand accent instead of an American accent, while Aya Cash sounds pretty much the same as her character. That's not to say she didn't work hard to embody Stormfront, just that the character didn't require her to make any big changes to her speech patterns.
As someone who once wrote a fanfic where I literally pissed people off because of what happened to the protagonist at chapter one, I can relate to what Aya did. The fact that the first thing that she did after introducing herself was to apologize, is just too pure for me

To be fair, she delivered her line in a way where you can chalk it up to the character's injuries, but I'm still waiting for that one American production that will finally have convincing delivery in a foreign language (sometimes you can tell it's off even with languages you don't speak).

Aya was brilliant as stormfront. she really was homelanders equal and she could easily hold her own in every scene she was in. it really sucks she died in season 3, would've loved to have more of her in show.

@@Memnoch_the_Devil As a native speaker of German, it regrettably wasn't. Better than Rupert Friend in Homeland or Alan Rickman in Die Hard, but with a noticeable accent nonetheless. To be fair, she delivered her line in a way where you can chalk it up to the character's injuries, but I'm still waiting for that one American production that will finally have convincing delivery in a foreign language (sometimes you can tell it's off even with languages you don't speak).
@@samlandsteiner6237 should have specified it was pretty convincing TO ME. I’m sure it sounds way different to native speakers. Just like European actors doing American accents usually sticks out to me
