- This week I'm at BlazeAid in Forbes (NSW, Australia), and they've asked me to review and demonstrate these recycled plastic fence posts from PlasticForests.
These particular posts were donated to BlazeAid by a private company, and this review isn't sponsored or influenced by PlasticForests in any way
CONFESSION:
My little red battery-powered drill wasn't powerful enough to push the 24mm drill bit all the way into the ground, so the video segment from 01:30 - 01:33 is using a 16mm drill bit. I'm sorry for the subterfuge, but it was necessary for the art. 🤫

Loud studio audience! LOVE IT!
Great review mate, something to keep in mind for us further down the track.
Yep, I think they'd be very handy for fencing in areas that tend to corrode steel posts too quickly - I've seen a few places with very alkaline soil that can rust off a black star picket in 2-3 years.
I dont think ill ever need one of these in my life but i still thoroughly enjoyed this video. Love ya work mate
Have you ever considered spending a few days volunteering at a BlazeAid camp? I tried to make it look a bit more glamorous in this video... 😊

Seems practical for an electric fence as you don't need the stand off post insulators that we commonly use with them for steel and wooden posts in my part of the World and they'd not get shorted to the post as can happen here when parts break or fail necessitating that repair.
That audience of yours gets tougher every time I see it😊😊😊😅😂
This time it was the baby Galahs (parents shown at the end). You can hear them squawking for more food at a few times during my narration (I had to do all the sound recording outdoors this time).
